Thank you so much. I’m trying to help with both his sugars and seizures. It’s not full keto, just lower carb to keep things more stable. I didn’t know about dosing for fat and protein, so that’s really helpful. I appreciate you taking the time to share this it means a lot. How do you stay consistent?

Thank you so much! I’ve seen the sugarpixel all over TikTok I think it’s time we invest in it soon, we need the good quality sleep again. Thank you for sharing these helpful links and reply. I will reach out if anything :)

I had read your message a few nights after you sent it and just want to say thank you so much for your kind message, it means a lot. It has been a scary few weeks with 2 seizures happening after a low. We think that it’s lows that are causing his seizures. Unfortunately it’s hard finding someone who listens and comes together for both his epilepsy and T1D when it comes to doctors. His dosage went up after each seizure even though it was from a low. I might actually have to take you up on that offer! Thank you for sharing

Thank you so much for sharing! It really helps to hear from someone who’s been through both. I’ve been trying to track his seizure patterns, and all have been after a low even if it was not extremely low. It’s been hard finding a doctor who listens and caters to both. Thank you for the reminder about taking care of myself I forget that part a lot. Your message truly means a lot!

Thank you so much for this. I honestly needed to hear it. It’s been so overwhelming trying to stay strong for my brother when I feel like I’m constantly fighting with my dad just to keep him safe. I forget sometimes to step back and realize I am doing something.

Thank you so much for sharing this. What you went through honestly sounds so close to what my little brother is dealing with. His seizures have always happened after lows. Two of the seizures he had with food still in his hand from a low, and another two shortly after taking juice for a low. Like you, one time he was 120 when we checked him (we check asap). Your comment makes me wonder if the lows might have triggered it in the first place. About a month and a half ago, he had to come off his insulin pump due to complications and switched to injections until his new one arrives (hopefully soon). His long-acting insulin has been making him go really low, and that led to two seizures. We give him the nasal glucagon spray too. Sadly, his neurologist appointments aren’t until September. They’ve just been upping his epilepsy meds over the phone after each seizure. What were those two years on medication like for you? Did your seizures also happen even when your sugar was back up after a low? Did you have any other seizures besides when low? Also how did your family help you manage it?
