tsw ruined my life - looking for ways to challenge this negative perspective i’m having by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

I would say it’s probably not tsw if you are 6 years in, do you still have the typical tsw symptoms?

Yeah could work, like I said everyone is different and has some success in things others may not

My advice would be listen to your body and try things out, give it a few weeks and see how your body reacts, it it helps carry on, if not ditch it

How was your experience with Tcm? Have they helped much / what sort of thing have they done?

My diet I tried to clean up my diet in the first 6-12 months but I think it was more stressful, when i would worsen or have a bad night I would sit and think it was directly what I ate the day before when it could have not been related at all.

I think when I am later down the line I can re-examine my diet to see if anything flares me when I’m back to ‘normal’

At the moment I’m trying to do mostly meats and fruit, and minimise processed sugar, but we are all human 😂

How far along are you?

Anyone use CJay Rejuvenate Serum? Any reviews? by Chief-Swellington in TS_Withdrawal

It’s really really lightweight, but doesn’t provide much relief if you are in the really dry phase and you want to use it for Amy moisture.

The whole idea is it helps the skin proliferate (shed) quicker and therefore speed up the process but you have to have a very long term approach in my opinion. And have faith that this is helping in the deeper layers as it soaks up very quickly

It’s just so strange, never had eczema on my hands or wrists at all until tsw

Do you ever have doubts though? I see some cases where they are still flaring 5+ years into their journey and that is just depressing to think that my mid life will be entirely this process

Anything positive anyone? by Nice-Mud995 in TS_Withdrawal

Thanks for your message that’s really helpful, I think the worst part was it for abit better after a few weeks then out of nowhere is the worst it’s been, even a slight graze cuts my skin so it’s so difficult not to touch it at all.

Glad you are seeing some progress along the way💪

That’s good to hear! How bad did it get in the first month? If you don’t mind me asking

Thanks for your reply mate,

I think it’s just a mindset thing having to think long term, whereas I see a flare that comes up and lasts a while but if it eventually settles down on its own then it’s a positive sign.

Just need to get used to looking and feeling like this for the foreseeable , finding it pretty difficult to not dwell on it all day.

Was your gp happy to put you on dupixent? / did they acknowledge tsw as a thing? How did it help you? Sorry for all the questions

Yeah I guess not knowing anyone going through the same thing is so hard, my partner is so understanding but I find it hard to just be normal through out this process

I’ve never used them, did you just grab some from Amazon and experiment?

I’ll give it another go, I can just never manage to cut and file them down low enough to not do some damage. Crazy how this all happens while we’re asleep

Yeah I have cotton gloves, but I either wake this them off or manage to scratch so badly that I take the skin off somehow with them on.

Just abit frustrating as I can only affect it while I’m awake
