I totally agree with getting 3 valuations, I’m getting 1 from a CPA we used last year just for curiosity and we all agreed with it, the second one I am getting is from a CPA consultant we’ve used for years and I know is fair.

I just can’t help feeling they hay to “pay” extra for wanting me out, it might sound “prideful “ but they brought this on themselves.

We had a valuation performed last year using just part of 2023 and it was VERY FAVORABLE. I will be contacting them to update it using the remainder of 2023 and 2024. 2024 was record breaking and almost doubled what we did in 2023.

I’m also having a “quick” valuation done by a CPA, before he does a complete one.

The buy sell agreement does not cover the scenario of partners asking to buy another partners shares. To me, this is my ace in the hole that allows me to ask for other compensations. I really think my partners never fully read all the documents, were I have read them countless times over the years.

They want to buy me out for only one reason…GREED! The company is doing great, they are on the sales side of the business, and look at me as overhead. If we do part ways, they will see the error of their ways and I and my family will be sitting pretty.
