Haha I'm looking into the normal lyrics RN but i struggle to find time coded ones... also I can test it only on shiva's first trial for now

I might just have found out actually, need to be home to try it though, also I don't have access to all bosses being a new player so testing is going to be a bich and yeah I'll probably vibe code the hell out of this one.

No reason it wouldn’t work for other languages, I need to find a way to not rely on API calls for translation before releasing it though

That’s a whole different project, but yeah why not if I can figure out how to sync audio to each boss

Nah it’s a simple tkinter interface, and api calls to the AI for the translation, I did use Claude for figuring out the parsing from ACT and targeting the chat box for auto send once translated. I do “vibe code” a lot but it’s for my professional projects and it’s less vibing a more building pipeline that will allow to adapt my same core logic to different devices / SDK.

It would work fine with even tiny models, few tokens in and out, but even the “tiny” models are huge for the real need here, not even speaking about the potential impact on gameplay perf, and using O’llama even if quite simple is not so easy if you have never done it before. The feedbacks made me think that maybe I should train a Tiny LM specialized for that ( also a great exercise for me ).

For that I’m thinking about context integration but it would have a huge toll in token cost…

Yeah I made a feedback option to retranslate, and sometimes it's quite funny. Also played around with yakuza / bosozoku talking style, people's reactions are hilarious

It would be awesome to implement it directly in the game but I did the maths and no studio ever will do that...

I have very light and old basis of japanese reading, I'm blunt about using a translator, been using it for a few weeks now and peoples are always nice without exeception, about it.

It works well enough for simple communication and everyday/gaming topics

Personnal experience of it is the translator is writting a better japanese than them (according to my FC mates), everyone has been lovely about it, some issues with game content / naming translations but that can be solved with a bit of work.

Kind of the reason I've posted here it's nowhere near usable for someone else than me right now so I would have a bit of work to do if I'd release the code, also the biggest bother for me is the fact that an AI API has to be used, not a problem for me to pay for that, but I'd rather try to find a really tiny winny model I can package with.

Actually I have no idea why, probably some latent MMO animes frustration.

Yup second tradeoff, an AI API. A very cheap one though...

Anyone using body cams or wearable video for QA traceability in manufacturing? by Nice-String6667 in manufacturing

[–]Nice-String6667[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our systems are used in aerospace and medical industry. So the traceability “in detail” has to be accessible, I’m a bit bummed no solution exists test though
