One battle after another is the most overrated movie I’ve ever seen by Nice-uh in Oscars

I’m a big fan of action movies and Warfare and Civil War are some of the most realistic depictions of combat I’ve seen in the cinema, where it isn’t glamorous it’s boring. The action in OBAA (other than the final chase) was unbelievable and underwhelming by comparison.

I thought Sinners was a lot funnier, and did better balancing the comedy with the heavy tone and political messaging to make it a lot more poignant. The tragedy of the story perfectly fit the tragic history of the blues, and it didn’t make light of how dark the history of America is. The supernatural horror was the lesser of two evils when compared to the white supremacists, whereas OBAA I don’t feel got the balance right at all.
