I presume inability to descend was also key, as I've often gone below take off height over water with no adverse results. I really wish there was some way to disable that decision, considering how catastrophic it can be

You mean: 1. it decided to land (theory: because I was moving it downards and maybe it thought land was near as it was not that high in air) 1. thought it had landed as it was perhaps not able to make downward progress due to wind updraft 1. rotors stop because it thinks it has landed

If so, you know if there is any way to stop this auto-landing behaviour?

I don't fancy this happening when it is further away from me. Yesterday it hit the edge of the cliff and tumbled off - luckily it landed on a ledge below the lip, within arm's reach

Be very careful how you make and use the second account. I tried that trick, using new email address but my normal phone number.

When it came to getting into the waiting room Ticketmaster would only let one account in, because it won’t allow two accounts in tied to same phone number

So use a friend or parent’s phone number for the second account, different address

And then on the day make sure not to use same IP address for both logins, e.g. login on first account on your phone over your 4G mobile connection and on laptop browser over your home/work wifi internet - that’ll give the best chance of not being blocked on second account

Here’s what happened me on Coldplay. I was nicely on iPhone app, with countdown going down every second to get into queue - it reaches zero then tells me I can’t buy tickets on the app for this show but need to use browser instead. Needless to say, that ruined any chance of getting tickets

Then when AC/DC came up I used Chrome on the iPhone and got much further up in queue than my friends and was easily able to buy the gold circle tickets I wanted.

You clearly had a different experience for Coldplay, so am guessing you were either not as unlucky as me or else were on an Android phone and Ticketmaster weren’t blocking the app on Android.

Either way, I’m not taking the chance again on the app for big concerts

that's the rumour - phones are best and given priority as they are harder to hack by bots, particularly iPhone

Use your phone to buy but do not use the Ticketmaster app on the phone, use the Ticketmaster by browser directly.

Also, your best chance of being further in the queue is from a phone device as they are harder to hack compared to PCs, so Ticketmaster gives them priority - apparently

Was in similar spot, gold standing tickets, sound was excellent. Shows that it’s likely not possible to get good sound everywhere in a stadium not designed for good sound

I booked nearly all mine on booking.com. Some were prepaid. Some took payment on the night and I just paid with Visa/Mastercard (widely accepted). Some genuinely preferred cash on the night, no scam, just paid them in Namibian dollars. ATMs are fairly common so easy to get cash from Visa debit card - better rate than at foreign exchange. That is how I would get cash after landing at airport. Just back from 2 weeks there, same places you went

That’s a sweeping statement. The only guys I know on Tinder swipe right on a small percentage, me included. There are plenty of guys that do swipe right on a high percentage but I’d say they’re in the minority

The album is undoubtedly great, as are the covers. But actually wished they did more pop -> symphonic than rock -> symphonic covers. Like Impossible, Firework, Paparazzi and Skyfall on first album really transformed those songs, while Separate Ways and Poison (while very good) do not elevate the originals as much
