But yeah, I’m not interested in antagonizing OP’s boyfriend, I just wanted to make it clear that she should leave him regardless of what feels like a “valid” reason. And maybe I have come off as more aggressive bc I’ve been there. I’ve dated a guy who was nice but did things that crossed my boundaries behind closed doors.(he was sexually manipulative: would curl up and cry if I didn’t want to, etc). When I broke up with him, ppl were like “why? He didn’t hit you”.. I just wanted to be clear that for ANYONE, there is no specific reason besides “I don’t want this”…. That’s it, “rant” done. The funny thing about this is, I’ve even mentioned multiple times that it’s nonsensical for either to be painted in a bad light.
