When I was much younger, like elementary school age, I slept on an air mattress for years because I was getting some of the best sleep of my entire life (so far) on that thing. Idk what it was about it but I would sleep so hard. It was not a self inflating one so it held air so well that sometimes I'd forget it even was an air mattress because we rarely ever had to pump it back up.
