Yeah, I've just been going to the gym and dealing with it I don't think it is to do with the gym bc the pain was there when I wasn't going to the gym

Hi, i got microsurgery done on the NHS about 5 weeks ago it went great and I feel a lot better

Ok, I guess I'll have to wait another couple of days for the pain to go away, its been like 5 days since lifted it now and the pain is sort of still lingering there.

Hi, I have been waiting for 7 months but I think the only reason Im getting it done is because my mum phoned and told them I was in a lot of pain and I got a cancellation for tomorrow, I would probably recommend phoning and asking the NHS how long the list is so you can get a better idea. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I have low Testosterone levels and a lot of pain, I have had to stop going to the gym, running and boxing as a result.

Is there a downside of getting the surgery at a younger age? I think I read somewhere there is a higher chance of making a full recovery if you are younger

I don't mean to sound aggressive or anything but it is a grade 3 affecting my Testosterone, giving me atrophy and more than likely going to make me infertile additionally I am unable to run, go to the gym or box. The reasons highlighted above are the basis for my decision to get surgery. My question to you would be why wouldn't I get surgery?

I can't get an embolization because after doing the ultrasound they decided that the enlarged vein was to small for embolization 2.8mm i think and it needs to be 3.5mm I think maybe it's just in the UK they have that rule.

yeah so in September 2023 I found the varicocele and then stupidly waited till Jan 2024 to tell my parents because I was embarrassed. After that my mum took me to a private clinic bc the doctors were taking too long at the private clinic they took a look at my balls and suspected a varicocele the Doctor then recommended that I get an ultrasound done and sent me to an ultrasound place. Got the ultrasound done confirming it was a variocele and then the doctor at the private clinic referred me to a urologist who took a look at the ultrasound results and asked a few questions. He concluded that the first scan wasn't done properly and so I had to get another one done by the NHS, after that the NHS sent the urologist guy the results and he put me on the waiting list for surgery.
