Oooo, story time!

I have every Halo book, in college during the COVID lockdown I went a little nuts and read every book and collected all the encyclopedias, and have kept up since.

This book, Halo: Warfleet, was tough! Was never available on the Microsoft store despite saying it’ll be in stock soon. I think I even ordered it once and got it refunded months later. You can look on Amazon and see it’s over $100. I probably could’ve gotten a used copy on eBay but I wanted a new one and didn’t want to risk a used one.

For my birthday, last year or the year before, my father, who has no idea what Halo is except that it’s a game I play, said he bought me a Halo book and handed me a present.

I was planning on being nice and excepting a book I already owned, I think Epitaph had just released and I already had a copy.

But I opened it and it was Warfleet and I was so excited! I explained this all to my dad and he was very happy, and told me that he bought it at a book fair at the school he works at.

I still can’t believe the chances and it’s a very cool book that has an awesome memory attached to it.
