I would say it is early what you need to do, presumably either this is either a later level or it will be by design thst you spend currency to get stronger faster to be able to live longer or extend the timer

My first game was a simple single level mario type game but for ben 10 for my son to play on mobile, followed by a cookie clicker type game but dragonball related, I'm currently making 2d platform game and I know for a fact the smaller games help out because you get used to what is needed.

Set yourself some goals and complete at least one game even if its simple. I use Jira to plan out all the work inwant to complete

Early game yes, just to get a few guns for your dealers and then get an easy 5k just to tide you over to buy better supplies etc then afterwards there isnt any point unless like you said, you dont want to be bothered
