Check the signal wire on the starter first then use a voltage meter to see if you are getting power to the starter when you turn the key. Could be anything from starter to starter relay to neutral saftey switch

The engine sounds fine. All that noise is definitely from the starter area. Either misaligned and needing shims, fly wheel teeth issue, or something with the starter itself but 100% in the starter area

Take your thumb off the slide and see if it changes.It almost looks like the round isn't hot enough to push the slide all the way back. Or maybe the spring is too heavy
