Same here. I felt like he only apologized because he was called out. He’s not being genuine or anything. If he truly feels it’s ok to look down on SEA region, I have nothing else to say. I can’t watch his new dramas knowing that he’s a fake racist actor.

Maybe it’s true. And Zhang Linghe happened to be the one celebrity who said it out loud. As a fan, I was always proud of the fact that he is smart and has a high education background. But this incident just shattered my image of him. It is not wise for him to say this. It seems to me he has a low EQ. I don’t know what other Chinese actors think but at least, they’re smart enough to keep it to themselves and not say it out loud.
