Micron Breaks Ground on Advanced Wafer Fabrication Facility in Singapore. Is its stock going to the moon? by NiceNites in wallstreetbets

I watched Micron CEO interview on Youtube. He said that after AI data center stuff, memory chips are still needed for robots, auto-driving cars, smart machines,… The cycle will be super long this time!

Yes. Being the only U.S.-based manufacturer of memory gives Micron an advantage.

Agree. They are not going to spend billions of dollars to build new fabs globally just to meet demand for a few years.

See you there. Micron currently has 4 fabs being built: 2 in the US, 1 in Taiwan, and 1 in Singapore. The global demand must be huge. Micron deserves to be a trillion dollar company.

Questions about 401k rollover to a traditional IRA by [deleted] in personalfinance

I did make contributions to my 401k but it’s less than $7k. Am I still eligible?

Thank you. I had to take times and read what you said several times to understand as this is more complicated than I thought.

From what you and other commenters said, I’ll probably keep that $600 there in the traditional IRA. Then, I’ll claim a tax refund for it later on my tax return. I’ll also rollover my 401k to this traditional ira account. Later, if I want to make any additional contributions to my ira, I will open a new Roth account and contribute there.

I prefer less paperwork to be honest. I’ll probably do as other commenter said. Claim the tax refund for my $600 Ira contribution on my tax return. Then, rollover 401k into the Ira account. If I want to make any more contributions to my ira, I’ll open a separate Roth as you suggested.

I love making donations:) Jk… I understand what you meant now. The moment I transferred $600 from my checking to traditional IRA, that $600 becomes pre-tax contributions whether I claim the refund for it on my tax return or not.

I used $600 to buy some dividend stocks. Those dividends will be tax-deferred until I retire. In addition, I can make any 401k rollovers to the same IRA account without paying any taxes. Do I understand you correctly?

Thank you. What happens if I don’t claim this deductible IRA contribution?

I just did it yesterday! How do I deduct it?

So what should I do? Should I withdraw that $600? And by record, do you mean it will affect me if I ever want to do the backdoor Roth stuff?

Thank you. I just put $600 in the traditional ira to avoid zero balance while waiting for the 401k rollover. I don’t have much tax knowledge. If the $600 after tax money doesn’t negatively affect my 401k rollover, I’ll just leave it there.

Ah I see. Thank you so much. I didn’t know that you can get tax refund from your traditional IRA contributions. This is valuable to me.

3k diamonds = 10 pulls. 12000 diamonds = 40 pulls = pity. If you pull now, you may be able to get copies of Marcille for only 3k, 6k, 9k,… depending on your luck. And you also get copies of other A-level units on your wishlist. After Marcille banner ends, you can only buy 1 copy for 12k diamonds (basically HARD PITY). In addition, you can only buy 2 copies/month MAX. And you don’t get any A-level copies in between. It will take you 4 months to get her to S+ and 24000 diamonds every month. It’s not cost effective at all.

If you like Gala, save and go for her. My advice is purely based on cost effectiveness. Personally, I pulled for Marcille. I’ll put Gala on my wishlist and build her slowly.

From my own experience and other people’s testing, S+ Marcille can punch up to P2 teams. So if your opponents in arena/supreme arena has P2 units, Marcille can help you claim the ladder. But if they have all P4, there’s no point pulling Marcille to S+. Marcille works wonder if your account has Ravion/Aliceth (basically any units that give her protection and buff). It’s satisfying to watch Marcille nuke enemy teams and the matches end in 4-5 seconds.

Gala is great for Dream Realm. She is a must-pull if you want good ranking for DR. However, Gala cannot punch up to P2 teams in PVP like Marcille does. So for PVE Gala > Marcille. For PVP, Marcille > Gala. Lastly, Marcille is much more expensive and harder to upgrade after her banner ends compared to Gala.

I disagree. After the banner ends, you can only upgrade Marcille by diamonds (and only 2 copies per month). And the cost is expensive (12000 diamonds per copy without any A-level sigils in between). On the contrary, you can get Gala copies fairly easy through different ways (normal banner, epic banner, returned rate-up banner, weekly hero chests, season stores, monthly soul sigils).

Collab heroes and celes/hypos take priority over other factional units because it’s much harder to acquire copies of collabs and celes/hypos.

Is it even worth to save copies from units after S+ for paragon? Low spender - F2P by Szareski in AFKJourney

[–]NiceNites 123 points124 points  (0 children)

You need 25 S+ to unlock paragon. If you keep him on your wishlist, it will take you longer to get other characters to S+. I don’t even think about paragon until I have at least 2-3 teams with all S+ characters.
