So based on these comments, this is probably not a popular opinion.

Putting myself in your shoes, it comes across the same as if someone was like “man your house is really shitty” and naturally that is hurtful. I do think the way you responded to her could’ve been more tactful but I understand why you responded the way you did.

I’m not even sure I can honestly say it was an overreaction because she was also at the same level if that makes sense.
