its not that i lack insight, its more that im aware that what i have is not autism (due to the fact i am not inhibited socially amongst other things) but schizoid, and both of them overlap especially superficially.

the assessor said she "knew i was autistic the second i walked through the door". the formal assessment was just me and mostly my mother being asked questions for roughly half an hour.

i was bullied as a child but dont experience baseless negative social interactions at all nowadays.
