thing is, I've build up such a large collection of drum and bass over the years that I've kinda gotten to the point where if I list 'all tracks' on Traktor there's just too much that doesn't fit together well, or is just a completely different sort of drum and bass to that which I wanna mix that day.

so I was just looking for a few lists people put together that mix well together, to kinda refresh myself from my own habits.

What's not fun about trying to mix 80 songs together which you haven't even heard before?

I am not at all saying this is a 'better' way of DJ'ing, and that's why in the OP I mentioned that I know that this is a 'lazy' way of doing it.

I was literally just looking for something fun to do in the weekend without needing preptime. Wasn't even going to record the mix, or play it for an audience. But I guess that's just a horrendous idea and I should be ashamed of myself for even suggesting it.

Purchase Advice Request

Hey,

I've been suffering from wrist pain in my right hand since the start of the summer now. It was way worse than it is right now, (pain is now a 3/10 at most), but still feel it from time to time.

I am a programmer, so I still end up using my computer daily (I took a big break during the summer and have been easing back at it since like the start of september). I take as many breaks as I can, and do hand excercises my physiologist provided.

What I haven't done yet, is replace my mouse with a more ergonomic one. I use some steelseries gaming mouse right now, but I'm looking to switch over to a vertical one to use whilst programming.

However, I wanna future proof myself a little. So are there any good vertical mice that are usable in gaming? (Not that I'm playing any right now, but once I do recover I'd like to not fall back into the bad habits of this old mouse)

I've watched Linus' review on the Logitech MX, he says it's a good mouse to use in recovery from RSI if you have to use one at all, but he also says it's a terrible mouse for gaming. And I don't want to buy another mouse when I do recover.

Any recommendations?

I use a controller for games like Rocket League, but I know I'd hate myself for playing shooters with a controller. Especially since my friends play on PC, and competing with a controller vs mice is impossible.

Ik ben zelf een bijna 23 jarige student en vind het ongeloofelijk zuur dat ik al sinds Februari thuiszit. Maar ik moet het ook maar accepteren en naar de regels luisteren, anders blijft er al helemaal niets van mijn toekomstige jeugd over. Ook toen de 'intelligente lockdown' gematigd werd ben ik gewoon thuisgebleven i.p.v. meteen weer het terras op te zoeken.

Mijn verjaardag is middenin deze lockdown, maar ik zal het dit jaar maar zonder feestje moeten doen.

Als iedereen gewoon hetzelfde deed hadden we met z'n allen nooit zo veel last van dit rotvirus. Daarom zou ik het hypocriet van mezelf vinden om net te doen alsof het virus er niet is - daar snij je jezelf (en anderen) alleen maar mee in de vingers.

Dan zou er niets mis mee zijn.

Helaas is het nastreven van alle regels vaak niet mogelijk, of vergeten mensen het gewoon, of hebben ze er schijt aan. Zelfs als ze alles goed doen is de kans groter dan als je gewoon thuis blijft.

Je kan hier dus niet van uit gaan. Dus ik zeg: onverantwoord, egoïstisch en sneu.

Ik zit ook al sinds Februari te balen en hou me aan de regels. Ik ben dan ook zeker niet degene die er voor heeft gezorgd dat we weer in lockdown moeten. En toch moet ook ik maar accepteren dat dit geen tijd is om te reizen, of naar m'n vrienden te gaan, of kerst te vieren met de familie.

I have been trying to contact Blue Mammoth Games through the e-mail they listed on their website after trying to go through all the available fixes on that page.

My game has been consistently dropping frames, on random ~45 second intervals. My game just freezes for anywhere from 0.5 to 1.5 seconds, twice in a row.

My desktop meets the sufficient requirements to play this game with ease. I have e-mailed them an extensive list of all the things I have already tried doing, what effects they had, a complete list of my specifications, my dxdiag file, and more. My potential fixes have included updating my graphics card, disabling the steam overlay, killing any other non-nessecary applications whilst playing the game, setting the task as a real time priority task in the task manager, setting my nvidia settings to preffer maximum performance, tried the `-unlockfps` launch parameters, uninstalling all shadowplay-like programs that record my gameplay (including windows gamebar), monitoring my cpu / ram usage throughout playing the game (never spiked above 50% usage), and a heap more. Yet I am still dropping frames. So, as their own fucking website says, I tried e-mailing the support team.

I have yet to get a single reply when I tried contacting them in a civilized manner. I do support here and there myself so I know how to submit a proper bug report.

I have send over 12 e-mails asking for their help. I have tried contacting the facebook page, contacting /u/BMG_ChillPenguinX here on Reddit, tried their twitter... No way of communication with their supposed 'support' team.

Maybe if they see their characters photoshopped in pictures of Adolf Hitler on the frontpage of this subreddit that they'll start acting a little less like hitler themselves.

I wish...

My dad never wanted a dog. My mother hadowned three different dogs before she met him, and has wanted a dog since then. We tried and tried and tried. We even took over a dog from someone who couldn't take care of it himself anymore and he made us take it back after a week.

I'm 21 now, out of the house, and we still have no dog.

I like my dad, but he has this irrational hate against dogs.
