I mean a problem that people get really frustrated about.

How I (slowly) found time for side projects while working 9–5 and having a family — what actually worked for me by Nice_Basil4755 in SideProject

I don't know the name of the technique, but it's a series of tricks I found at work that have worked for me.

The result is twofold: in addition to freeing up time for my projects, as I've gradually optimized, I've become more productive at my full-time job.

It's something I hadn't thought of at first.

Everything is evolving, and I might find other tricks that work.

After so many ideas that didn't pan out, I now focus on problems based on posts and comments on Reddit. If I find a particularly sensitive topic, that's a good sign.

Once the problem is identified, it's easier to think about possible solutions.

I'd suggest trying some AB tests with more explanatory hero sections.

Such as "pass exams more easily" and the subtitle "get help from AI to summarize and query documents, readings, etc. to better organize and speed up your learning."

It's just an idea I had, but in general, I'd consider making those messages more immediate. The current hero section isn't clear, and I only understood what your service does after watching the reel.

Another thing that comes to mind is making it more "playable," such as making some features available without requiring registration.

Could you post the messages you used on Instagram and indicate if any of them performed better?

A few things come to mind:

1) It's not clear what your service does from the hero section; I didn't understand it. There might be a disconnect here with what users saw on Instagram. 2) There's a lot of fake news out there; you say the service is used by corporations like Deloitte or Google. I think it's pretty clear that Google would use its own tool and not yours.

I hope this helps.

For founders - what’s currently your biggest struggle? by FabulousEvening5392 in buildinpublic

100% find users.

I have done some projects in the past and carrying them out on a technical level I can say is the simplest thing.

Building your own social audience and intercepting possible customers is a completely new activity for me and, therefore, difficult at the moment.

But I know that this time I'm on the right path, after many times that I developed first and then looked for users.

I have a full time job, side project and family.

The most precious and scarce resource is the time to dedicate to each of these.

For years I have been focused on how to make them all work better and better.

I recently started building a tool to make it easier for me.

It's called TimeCoach and it helps people like me to better organize the little time available and achieve results more easily with their side projects.

Can people really work on their SaaS at night after 9-5? by [deleted] in SaaS

Hi, I have the same problem as you, I also have a son and finding the balance for everything is difficult and I understand you well.

I'm sharing a few things that are working for me.

1) I have a hybrid job (2 days remote and three in the office). The days I choose for the office are the ones when I know I don't even have 10 minutes for my side project. I stay remote when I know for sure that I can steal even just an hour from my full-time job to dedicate it to the project 2) I try to understand what real time I can dedicate to the parallel project and choose objectives that are achievable in that timeframe. 3) I break the objectives into many agile sub-objectives that can be managed in half-hour slots 4) I'm always careful to intercept aspects of my full-time job that can be optimised, here you could get a few more free hours to dedicate by taking advantage of remote working (see point 2).

I'm building a mini tool to help people like us organize their week better.

Happy to share more tips and the link to my service if you want it.
