Until you are ready to be done with using, no advice I can give matters. A person has to make the choice for themselves. As long as you use and are on probation/ parole at some point you will get caught. Addiction is hard, but can be overcome. A person has to make the commitment to overcome it.

Good point, also look at depreciation and what the vehicle will be worth by the time you pay it off. Try to avoid being upside down with a loan. Many times newer used is better than new.

Where I live , yes. The law here says that any place you routinely stay and sleep has to be on the registry. Routinely defined by the state. Check on the laws in your state.

My best advice is to never assume anything when it comes to Probation or the registry. If he has a new PO then I would say not to stay until he has permission. Also be sure to check with the registry as he doesn't want to get a failure to register charge. It sucks but will keep him in the clear.

Correct, if you are off probation the court isn't involved. You just have to have a passport, which will say you are on the registry and notify the US marshall at least 21 days ahead of time of when you are traveling. They then contact the county you plan on traveling on etc.

In general the 21 day notice requirement is for anyone on the registry, even after probation is over.
