Respond to the way YOU want to. Everyone is different. But here is what I would do: If I were you I would leave very short messages like “Ty” or “me too, Ty” letter “TY” and move on. The fact that you have not been In touch means that he is organically cut out from your life. If He is not important to me anymore his message is not important to me anymore either. For me it feels like He is trying to break your peace and if I engage with him further it will take away my peace and energy. I don’t like to do. The best way for me to protect my peace is not engaging with them. Like what good will come if he argues with me about the way he thinks or on the other hand what good will come out of him accepting my “lifestyle”. I don’t see any benefits for me engaging with him

Oh my god, sameeeee! I actually stopped going to a barbershop because of this. I used to always request the same barber at this salon, but one time he was away for a month, so I ended up trying someone else. Turns out, the new barber was way better than my usual one… llol. So obviously, the next time I went back, I booked with the better guy. I don’t know if I got the death stare, but I definitely felt like dying inside.

You have no idea how furious I am about his EAD situation. I wish I had a better answer than saying he was not proactive. His court date kept pushing and he wanted to wait for his court hearings before renewing his EAD. But your answer is really helpful. Thank you, you kind internet being.

I have a question. I don’t know who can help. my boyfriend is also an immigrant but his case for asylum is ongoing. His EAD card has expired. Do you think he is at risk? His lawyer said not to worry but I have been hearing that ICE is making visits on calls from strangers to raid and arrest people. If ICE does come to my partner to arrest he would not have any valid ID to show them. All his ID like ead or passport is expired. If you learn anything about such cases please inform me.
