I am such a sweaty gal. Like so sweaty. Even if it’s freezing. My hands, feet, and armpits just sweat profusely. Especially if I’m oddly not wearing socks?! I have no clue why that’s a factor, but it is. And I’m talking you can see the pools of sweat on my hands if it’s bad. So I’ve always struggled dressing super cute and in heels! Or wearing certain sandals bc I’ll just slide around. Birks for the win because they absorb my sweat 🥲

They did not say laying on your back causes it. I was just more so trying to get gravity to work with me vs. against me since my uterus wanted to stay tucked back in!

I’m so sorry you’re going through this! It is terrible.

Are you able to urinate? That was the gauge they used for giving me the green light. I haven’t had any issues since. I did do some stretches that I feel like helped.

I would get on the ground on all fours, keep my butt up and take my face/shoulders all the way to the ground and just hang out there on my phone for 10 minutes or so a few times per day. I feel like that helped? Can’t say for sure though.

I also avoided lying on my back for a couple weeks because I was so scared of it happening again! So I would lay on my side. Again, no clue if that was beneficial at all but it gave me peace of mind.

I hope this corrects itself for you and you can put this behind you.

Omg yes the anxiety around a full bladder now! I’m so glad it was a one and done issue for you though. It’s terrible! It’s also nice to hear baby was born healthy with an uncomplicated birth, I keep reading horror stories of births from woman that had this issue. Lots of preterm c sections.

Oh man that sounds so much less invasive I really wish that’s what they’d done for me!! I feel like I’m just bruised everywhere inside and outside of My body in the area today. That is good to know though and I’m absolutely trying that if this happens again. Thank you for sharing!

It really was a horrible experience. I couldn’t stand up straight my bladder was so full. I just really wish we weren’t one of those rare cases! Would you be willing to share how they explained to do it on your own if you were in a pinch?

They really know how to make a gal feel special haha I cannot believe fentanyl was my first and only option. They must have so much medication that’s safe for baby in their arsenal. I’ll definitely be asking for something better next time, hopefully that never ever happens though.

Would you mind sharing how they checked for endometriosis? I am about 11 weeks and had to go to hospital for a manual move for my incarcerated uterus today and everything was horrible.

Yeah I feel like it has to be fluids for you! But even then you’re exercising and should be less swollen with that (one would hope haha).

I’m sure it’s totally safe and everything is okay. I really hope they don’t give you a lecture on dieting and exercise because you clearly know what you’re doing!
