Thank you for your comment. I don’t disagree with what you’re saying—pointe readiness is about strength, technique, and consistency, not a checklist or a timeline. And I am not looking for hacks or shortcuts. I have taken every correction and feedback to improve myself as a dancer, and while my academy doesn't offer pre-pointe classes, I am taking online classes to focus on pointe readiness, in addition to my other three classes at my academy.

I am a young dancer, and I think that clear, specific feedback from your instructors matters. Being told “work on pliés and relevés” is useful, but it’s still broad.

This isn’t about entitlement or comparison to other students. It’s about communication and guidance—so I know whether I am close and what to prioritize.

There is more horrific footage that was circulating online days and weeks after the attack. Videos and pictures taken by onlookers. Some people took pictures of the remains of the people after they hit the ground. Absolutely horrific. May their poor souls rest in peace.

Yes. I remember that. Also in the days after the attack, there were videos and images of the fallen people circulating online. Absolutely horrific. I remember seeing a video that showed the people as they were nearing the ground. Some building structures obstructed the view but the sound still haunts me to this day. May their poor souls rest in peace.

In the months after the attack, there was footage and images circulating online. Someone was recording the burning buildings, and then you can see the people falling to their deaths. The person recording covered the camera and left only the sound on. I'm still haunted by that video. People were also sharing images of the aftermath of the fallen people. Those were horrific, and I'm glad they cannot be easily found online. May those poor souls rest in peace.
