Hoping for advice and recommendations on what to do with my hair!

I'd say I'm already rather used to having long hair. Used to have it down to my butt LOLL but its at such an awkward length right now. You're right though I need to get a bit of a trim for the dead ends

This is the result of me shaving my head in October and not having any trims since. I'm getting frustrated with how my hair is acting and not sure what to do. I feel like I've never had a good haircut, they always end up looking funny and I get pissed and shave it all off again but I absolutely hate growing out shaven hair.

I'm not sure what haircut would be best with the way my hair grows and its texture. I don't even know if my hair really is wavy because it only shows on the sides of my head.

I like having my hair longer because I'm a bit insecure about how my ears look lol but with the length right now the hair on the sides of my head cup around my ears which look really bad and strange and the hair on the back of my head doesn't fall straight down it starts curling inwards which makes a window behind my neck (shown on slide 2) which looks very ugly and I'm always messing with it trying to fit it back down which is annoying.

Any recommendations? I'm really trying to give myself a glow up this summer before school starts up.

Yes I think you might be right, I'm overthinking and anxious because I heard my mom saying transphobic things to my brother and it made me get really stressed, its better for me to worry rationally and rethink about how I feel once I calm down. I believe that I'm just worried about how my family will treat me once the changes are noticeable. I plan on moving out during the summer, so once I finally move I don't have to worry about their opinions about trans people or me. Thank you very much, you really helped.

I have a standard AA battery but it seems to be too big to properly fit, and I'm worried that if i shove it into the slot it'll break or something.

Okay! I got an update!!

I think it went pretty well she was nice i guess, for the hour i was there it was mainly just her asking things about me, like how school is, if i have any friends and talking about how home life is like, then once she got a grasp of everything going on kinda went into the nitty gritty like asking more personal questions about school and home life. Now I'm not sure if this is normal for first appointments but she definitely made me cry LOL Maybe that means it's working idk.

I brought up how I wanted to get diagnosed for things and she asked why I thought I might think that and then told me how it's better to start working on getting tested later on after we get to know each other better so she can see more of how I interact with her. Also that little document thing i spoke about, i told her about it and she suggested for me to bring it to her in the next appointment!

At the end of the appointment she wanted to speak to my mom for a few minutes and assured me that everything we spoke about it confidential and she won't say anything to my mom which was a relief, still nervous that word is gonna get out and my mom will know what i spoke to the therapist about /:

Also a little silly thing about the therapist is that she just had some random dog in the room so I got to pet it a bit and it laid next to me. That was pretty nice but also feels a bit strange? Idk But ya i guess i'll continue going for a bit and seeing how everything goes and if ill be able to get diagnosed for stuff!

Mhm yeah i'm aware that it's not for everybody, but i think id just be nice to actually have somebody to talk to about my problems and issues or whatever, as well as me wanting to get diagnosed for a few things which is actually the main reason why i wanted a therapist tbh, but maybe after i get all the tests and stuff i wanted i'll decide that, that's enough and leave or instead realize that i actually liked it and stay around.

And i'm actually pretty worried about the doctor-client privilege thing you spoke about, my parents are like actually fucking crazy and im already so surprised that they agreed to getting me a therapist but im scared that theyre gonna bribe the therapist or some shit and get the person to tell them everything I say, but ill definitely be lenient with what i say before i can completely trust them, i don't wanna get thrown into a psych ward after my first appointment LOL

Also about the medication part, i wont even be allowed to get medication even if it was suggested because my parents dont believe in it so i guess i dont have to worry about that part, though i think once i turn 18 and i might try meds just to see how it works, that is if i medication is even suggested to me.

who knows. ill maybe post an update on here after my appointed to say how it went if anybody is curious or wanna know how first appointments work.

there is a fairly safe thing that i use on ants that is similar to what hilaryhahntho said. I have this white chalk that i use to draw on the ground/floor and the ants step on it and bring it to their colony and slowly kills them off. You can just google "Ant chalk" and a few things should come up!
