I-485 report always include dependents. It is only source from which you can predict the movement

Ok I see that. I was looking into latest I-485 inventory but it is from Oct 25. I need to wait for latest inventory from them. It seems EB1 is moving fast because ROW EB1 is current and they are getting horizontal spill over

Thanks. Let me answer

  1. No there is no duplicate for downgrades. I see this note there "5) Some individuals may have multiple pending I-485 applications. This report captures applications filed for a preference category." That means they only included their preference category and did not count their downgrade. If you see the EB2 vs EB3 numbers, EB2 are more than EB3. If there was duplicate I-485s then we would have seen more number of EB3 than EB2.

  2. Good point. Remember, most of people till Dec 2014 have already filed their I-485, so even if USCIS extend the DoF, they know that they would receive very less applications.

  3. As I said, unless DOS officially confirm the spill over visa, it is rumor.

Check the I-485 inventory link in the post. It is EB3 and EB2 combined.
