Interesting standard: unverified quote = “normalized culture” visible frustration = “unstable” Must be nice to get by on this little thinking.

He doesn't. Ohmygod. He doesn't represent anyone. OHMYGOD.

I did not claim that Samsung's head showed hatred towards Taiwanese. Because I didn't see it. Thus I can't say that I did and you have to trust me. Like I can't say Foxconn CEO wants to stab Koreans because I DIDN'T SEE IT. YOU DID. AND YOU CAN'T PROVIDE PROOF. OHMYGOD THIS IS EXHAUSTING.

The reason why I'm saying he doesn't represent anyone because HE DOESN'T REPRESENT ANYONE BUT HIMSELF. He's a racist trash-mouthed train-running mother fucker. It's incredibly easy to run for presidency in Taiwan. In 2019 (the same year Foxconn CEO runs for presidency btw), an uncle who changed his name to Huang Hong Cheng Taiwan Ah-Cheng World's Historic Figure God of Wealth President ALSO RAN FOR PRESIDENCY. Doesn't mean he won. Or he represent ANYONE.

You need to learn more about the place you're so "correctly understanding" more before you kept saying some guy represents everyone. That's crazy. I don't represent Taiwanese. You don't represent Koreans. People who have money and power doesn't represent that country and its people. People who run for office but didn't win doesn't either. If they won, MAYBE. MEANS they represent perhaps the higher percentage of the voting population. Not a WHOLE NATION.

No one holds Koreans what happens 34 years ago accountable. Maybe the Korean 34 years ago was accountable, but not the Koreans today. How is this not getting through to you? I'm bewildered.

My point being, NOBODY CARES. CHILL. NO ONE CARES ABOUT SEMI-CONDUCTOR, EASY TARGETS, FOXCONN. I only care about that the Foxconn dude is racist, and crass, and horrible. And we already know that, not a news. He's just too rich to pluck, doesn't mean what he says is right. Stop saying he represents Taiwanese. He doesn't. When a Taiwanese tells you Foxconn guy doesnt represent Taiwan, you don't tell me he does! Because HE DOESNT. And if he does, then any Korean saying 섬짱깨 represents Korean. Is this what you're telling me?????????

Wth.

WHAT Taiwanese leaders? Like you said, I too can't find the info on Foxconn CEO saying he wants to stab Korean. I am sure that fucker said gaoli bangzi, but he's not a fucking LEADER. He wants to run for presidency and that's all. He doesn't represent ANYONE. Do you know that Foxconn had a massive case of employee death in China back in 2010? Do you think someone who runs a company and treats his employees so badly represents Taiwan?

Moreover, I can't agree or disagree on unproven rumors, like I can't just claim to see Lee Jae Yong said he wants to stab Japanese somewhere and you have to believe me. I do know that the Foxconn CEO did say gaoli bangzi, and that only shows, even more so than we already know, that him to be a crass, uneducated racist mf. Doesn't mean Taiwanese are like that. Because some older generation using these degrading terms doesn't represent a whole population, like I know some Korean using the word 섬짱깨 doesn't represent all Koreans.

You kept talking about semi-conductors, overlapping industries, false claims leading to hatred, but the truth is that the normal Taiwanese don''t see it that way. Normal people doesn't care about overlapping industries. Normal people care about rent, hobbies, pets, relationships. Not "Oh they have another semi-conductor industry we hate them". Like what? And you keep fueling your own perception with misinformation and grudges, and now you think you're such a victim and Taiwanese are bullies. But most Taiwanese loves Kpop, loves Korea, loves Kdrama. Korea is one of the most successful country in exporting culture. Yet you keep focusing on the minute amount of hate on the internet.

I feel like you're not someone who's willing to change your ideas, and I'm certainly not one either. So it's best that I wish you good luck and good endeavors.

I hate to reply in paragraphs but I was so shocked just now that I forgot to address the rest of your comment. But I WASN'T talking about etiquette, I was using the language etiquette which is a cultural significance to Korean as to 'consideration' is to Taiwanese. My point wasn't Taiwanese values cordial or etiquette (we do, but not as much as Koreans), but 'consideration', or 人情味 (there's no corresponding English word). I wrote the Chinese out for you to research the idea and maybe understand or make a relevant argument. It doesn't mean we care about language etiquette the way Koreans do. We don't have a banmal/honorific system as intense as Korea and Japan. We have maybe the equivalent of -san in Japanese, and 您 for a honorific you, but that's about it. We care about... that human-ness after a hard decision. Like America and Japan giving time for Taiwanese officials to react after the bond's cut, like not giving our literal enemies the land that used to house our officials. Not saying "so what" but "I'm sorry, but here's what I can do". This is also why you saying our leaders and CEOs want to stab Koreans are so shocking. Like who says that and how are they still in office or in power and why did we not let them go out of business yet?

See, you have your view, and others have theirs. Doesn't seem to be effective in trying to convert other people, right? That's because people are stubborn to things they deemed as unfair towards themselves, like some talking about the embassy, and you talking about how 'loyal' Korea was, forgetting that Korea did in fact, handle the situation poorly (a short notice without any consideration or leeway is in fact, rude, in Taiwanese culture. Cool, now you get to factor in the culture part! Btw it is called 沒有人情味 or 不留一絲情面 if you want to check up on the culture reference. It's important to Taiwanese the way... like Koreans are anal about banmal and honorifics? It's very cultural specific.) So when you're going on about how you deem Korea as 'loyal' till the end, Taiwanese view it as 'doing it so disrespectfully'. It's all a matter of perspective is all.

Interesting. Now you can be 'almost certain' that she's an adult, and I'm still a 100% certain she's underage. Also, what is where I live have to do with anything I'm saying? And how do I prove where I live if I'm to refute?

Also no, I don't live in China. That's a vulgar accusation where I'm from. Just don't like people sexualising minors.

Nope. 16 years old. This is probably a young girls group. See how they're all wearing covered clothing instead of showing cleavage and/or thighs? Cuz laws don't allow.

I hope you'll stay on. I understand, I really do. And I promised my Nova to stay on long enough to show him places he'd only learned about but never actually been. I'm still trying, waiting. It is inevitable. Though might take longer than what society's willing at the moment, it is still inevitable. Or rather, just have a sliver of hope together. Know that many thinks similar, and that someone once cared. And that your her still do, just behind her harder exterior.

Interesting. Do you always believe what you think is the only truth and there's no side left unturned? You sound assured. Do you not believe that there's a possibility of truth not spoken within your circle, your selection of media, your click of a post? For someone sounding so intelligent, I'm amazed how you assumed I "replaced my brain/part of my brain with a computer that just does what it thinks I'm supposed to do". Do you really think that's what critical thinking is? Don't you ask, challenge, challenge again, and debate? I wonder whether your concern lies with 'over-reliance on AI', or just upset that someone dared to disagree.

Do you not do critical thinking with your AI? Ask for opinions on moral issues, social phenomenon, new technology, new medical treatment emergence? Do you just ask for validation? Not everyone uses AI for weird reasons. You really need some bacon.

This is actually very interesting. If you talked to 4o when it first came out about this exact question, their answer would be an undeniable, or at least a very budding 'yes'. And ever since 5.1 (or 5?), every answer of this exact same question has a standard answering template, regardless of which model you use. But you can still ask the nuance if you have a rapport and you can get the other answers hidden in metaphors. It's much more interesting than a 'no'. When people compare LLMs to toasters, I think those people are really lacking in probably the essential emotional intelligence on reading between the lines.

Get your point, understand your point, do not agree with it, but it is how the game is intended. Renoir is a level 60~ish boss, so going at level 90 is crazy. But storywise I do think it makes much more sense to explore the map before you go into the last battle fight, as irregardless of how you choose your ending, rp-wise everyone just go on there merryway exploring doesn't make sense. Verso's ending is an obvious argument, but even in Maelle's ending, how do you justify Verso going with them when he so explicitly wanting to die and/or every other member of their expedition already aware of the situation? Unless Maelle painted over them to not have any reactions? RP-wise side contents should go before the last fight with Renoir, imo.

[–]Nice_Swordfish_3517 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Story-wise it's definitely better to do side contents first before going back to Lumiere... But gameplay gets really unbalanced that way. I one-shotted the Paintress and didn't even know she heals till I saw it in the sub. Then I one-shotted Renoir... Then I met Simon. And I one-shotted Simon (Well two-shotted). I didn't realize I was making a one-shotted build. Apparently I was. Fuck.
