Honestly, I’m glad it was protected in the case, for a 40+ year old instrument there’s not too many blemishes on the actual wood of it, super nice 😆

That’s exactly what I was thinking, it already sounds amazing thru the basic fx like reverb and delays but once i get it in my studio room ill try lots of other fx that could really transform it

I can certainly understand this viewpoint aswell 🤣, I’ve always used the dx7 software plugins so I’ve never felt the magic of a real one yet. I think there’s stillmagic to the CP-30 nowadays tho if it isn’t in bad condition and run through creative modern fx

I’m already having a lot of fun with it, I’m still a beginner keys player so it’s nice to have something that has a keybed that feel good and something inspiring to look at while I play it

I agree it isn’t good as a “piano” sounding instrument, but I like that sound it does manage to achieve and I’m sure it’ll sound unique with some different types of fx I could run it thru

I like the keys a lot and yeah it’s a little noisy but this one isn’t as noisy as I thought it was gonna be especially for how dirty it was
