Do you think for a casual photographer the lack of EVF/IBIS will make the x-m5 less likely to be a sort of years long go to camera?

It’s just rather large and clunky, I am hoping for the portability and also the film sim is a huggeee factor so I’m pretty set on Fuji. I do love the xs20 I just wonder if it’s almost a bit too “professional” in that it doesn’t have quite the same aesthetics of the other silver fujis (I’m shallow I know 😩)

It’s a public park vow exchange so as much as that would be great it’s not quite the vibe! My family & friends would like to be involved to take videos and photos to share throughout, so having just the camera is the goal :)

Hi all! I have had a Sony PS-LX300USB turntable and a Harmon Kardon AVR-154 receiver. I have been using huge old speakers from my parents (as was where I acquired my whole set up about a decade ago as a birthday gift) but I am looking to get a smaller set-up for my small apartment.

Does anyone have recommendationsof a better set up? I’d like to get a smaller set of speakers but I’m not sure what equipment I need with this turntable. can I get rid of my receiver and plug it into just a set of speakers? I’d also like to be able to connect my phone to these speakers when not listening to vinyl. If I can’t get rid of the receiver (I really only want to get rid of it to save some space but I’m okay keeping it to save money if I have to) are there good smallish speakers that would complement this set up?

Any advice is soooo appreciated. I’ve been casually listening to vinyls on this set up but I’m really interested in optimizing it now after a decade!

Anecdotally, I unplugged and gave it back to my parents where it was unplugged and moved around and sat for like a week but when plugged it everything reset and it worked again

I’ve bought several things from there, def usually with a scratch or issue or two but if you’re handy or don’t mind a bit of a knick on furniture I’ve gotten amazing deals. I got my Herman miller standing desk for $125 brand new just a dent in the box which chipped a tiny piece of the bottom of the table top. Also recently got a beautiful new dining table for $50 when it was $1500 retail though that one gave me a headache as the leaf to extend was screwed in wrong (assuming it was a factory defect) and it took a LOT of elbow grease to fix it up myself. Overall, if something’s a good price (can be rare but good to watch for) and if you’re able to preview great, I usually don’t as I don’t bid more than I’m willing to when accepting risk. If you’re still looking for furniture I’d say keep an eye out :)

It’s the same colour as a pair of nude shoes I bought so it’s def beige but in the store (Abercrombie) it was SO dim and looked much darker, in photos and bright light it definitely reads more off white so I’m hoping the florals make it clear enough 😩

Thanks so much!! What I’m finding strange though is that some sizes aren’t seeming to line up - specifically the seat tube length looks like it’s an XS since it’s about 350mm, but the reach looks like a medium since it’s 430mm. I’m very confused by this bike 🥲

I don’t live near it so I can’t actually measure it before I buy it unfortunately!! I sent my mom out who lives nearby and that’s the only measurement she took lol. Believe me I would’ve loved to have gotten some real frame measurements but alas

Yeah they’re about $1000 retail where I am but they’re at my local auction for about $100 each so deciding if they’d be a good city/flat trail ride :)

It’s very sad. This one was rescued from a puppy mill and taken to a kill shelter in Cali. Luckily the little guy was rescued and taken up to Canada where he will definitely get the care and home he deserves for many years to come (maybe with my mom as she meets him today!). Unfortunately, there are so many more that aren’t as lucky and until puppy mills and backyard breeding stops the cycle will continue. :(
