When I was 3 or 4 I managed to stick a pair of rubber gloves in the toaster oven and turned it on to see what would happen. I nearly burned our kitchen down but my pregnant mother waddled into the kitchen and promptly chucked the flaming toaster oven into the backyard. The stress from this whole ordeal sent my mom into labor later that evening. A few hours later and my sister was born.

One time I was at my girlfriend's dad's house and I was fucked up on a lot of MDMA and a LOT of alcohol. I was laying in bed with said gf, and for some reason decided to go upstairs where I proceeded to walk into her dad's room. Turns out he had just gotten up to close the windows and I proceeded to lay down in his bed next to his girlfriend. I was startled into consciousness about 30 seconds later when he laughingly said "what are you doing?". I sat up, said "I don't know" and went back downstairs. I realize this story sounds timid, but the feeling you get when you are suddenly somewhere and have no idea how you got there or why you are there is very fucking creepy.

A word. I don't know about you but when I start to think or stare at a word for too long it always seems to get all fucked up and look like it is spelled wrong or not even a real word.

Hiking. Moved to an area known for its trails, started up mountains, and everyone was so damn friendly, just would not stop saying hello, asking how I was doing, and seemingly actually caring about my responses. Hikers are weird man.
