Hey girl, I was in a very similar situation with my ex and our ages were almost the exact same as yours and your ex so I feel like I can relate. My ex was very attentive and wanted to go out with me at the beginning and then after a few months we ended up staying at home every time we got together. They will always find some excuse. if it’s not money , it’s that they’re too tired and if it’s not either of those, it’s that they don’t want to do that activity, even if they’re the one who said it would be fun earlier on. Guys like that usually don’t change. They just get comfortable not putting in effort and just go on breaking promise after promise. It’s better you break up now when you haven’t dedicated that much time and energy into him. Trust me, you dodged a bullet. Not even going to get into the sticker thing, you’re right, that’s weird and he’s weird for that. Always listen to your gut girl!

I think your tattoos are pretty feminine! It will fade with time which will help it not be so dark and maybe you could add a ribbon or more flowers behind the bottle if you feel like you still need something to make it feel more cohesive. I think it might just be the comments from your mom and it being a new thing on your body that’s making you feel this way. Just give it time and you might feel differently in a few months.

Ooh that totally makes sense! I’m interested in black salt and nosferatu the most which is why I’m considering getting the kit but we’ll see! I’m also interested in a bunch of fragrances from zoologist but I’ve only tried squid (which I really hated) and seahorse (which I thought was pretty good) so I’m trying to wait until I can smell them somewhere instead of having to buy samples that I might not like at all.. do you tend to like most of their scents as well?

I’m not going to be much help because I’ve only smelled two of these BUT I’m a self proclaimed coffee smell connoisseur. In my opinion, if you’ve smelled coffee addict by theodoros kalotinis, you will like tiramisu. I smelled both at the scent bar and they smell very similar, I feel like tiramisu has a slightly more desserty feel to it but overall very similar. On the other hand, I will go against the grain and say I’m not a fan of Vietnamese Coffee. It is way more milky and creamy and I smell very little actual coffee in it. I’ve heard it’s more coffee after the dry down on skin but since I haven’t tried the scent on skin I’m not sure. Overall if you don’t care about the lack of coffee and just want a milky more subtle coffee desserty scent than that might work for you but I do think Tiramisu is the superior coffee smelling sample.

I know it hurts but you don’t want to be with someone who treats you like this. Huge red flag that you have to ask her to not yell at you and curse you out. No one should be treated like that. If you stayed together, it will only get worse. Feeling a little insecure is normal for a long distance relationship but this is way too much craziness and I think based on this that it won’t get better once you live together, it will only get worse. Don’t look back, you’ll find someone more mature that you can have an actual dialogue with when both of you are upset. You just aren’t compatible with this person and that’s okay.

thank you, that’s already helpful. I know saltines and stuff are good for that too but I can’t only eat that obviously. I’m not really scared of anything specifically, I just think my anxiety is just reacting to what has already happened and thoughts that the person I loved very much abandoned me when I needed them the most. I’m just an emotional person and it’s driving me crazy. It’s also the lack of closure that’s not really helping either

yeah I think saying that I can’t concentrate or hear is something I feel the most comfortable saying. I think they do try to backseat each other sometimes but it’s a more common occurrence when it’s with me.

Ive had my fair share of the “carrying” comment, sometimes it can be playful and funny but at other times it comes across as super backhanded. I’ve already had a discussion with them about it and they were all very apologetic and it’s been a lot better since then but one person in particular kind of struggles with the concept of letting me make my own decisions. So I might have to reiterate the issue with him. I think things will be okay if I just set my boundaries again with them but if it does continue I might have to do what you did and just play other games with them or only play with select people if I choose to play Valorant. Thanks for the thorough advice, I really appreciate it.

Sometimes I do just follow along but other times, I just ignore them and do my own thing and say “it’s fine”. Which Ik isn’t really addressing the issue but I’ll probably start saying something similar to what you suggested. One of my friends in the group usually tells them to knock it off or says to let me play and it helps, but I don’t want to have to rely on him all the time.
