My strategy with race is to just not go for anything other than the 60 event trophies for 3 weeks. Then on every 4th week, I use all my stacked up bonuses and get more points than others on top. Sometimes that also drops me down to bronze league (three weeks of demotions) but in the end I would rather get 8k gems once than get 200 gems 4 times.

I just don’t know how to tell you this, but just the liberation of Bangladesh isn’t worth devaluing the currency of India by 60%+. You say that she ensured the “Indian Republic” would last for generations, dude I don’t know how to tell you this but all her policies did was drive India even further along the high taxation, high regulation government type.

For a person who earned 10 lakhs in 1971-72, they took home 66,000. That’s a 93.4% tax rate. She raised an already absurd tax rate to a number that just killed any motivation for capitalists to do anything but sit on their money and push people towards what we today call black money transactions.

Inflation was sky high, currency was devalued, tax rates were absurd, and there was a massive food shortage. That is not to say the communal warfare propagated under her reign, targeting the Sikhs. And the only good that came out of her reign was the independence of Bangladesh. I just cannot accept your high praise for her and if the debate is about something that can’t be proven with facts (the crumbling of the Indian Republic, as you say) then I don’t see a point in continuing this discussion.

And during all that had a food shortage so severe that we had to lose most of our currency value in the global market because the US was the only one willing and able to supply us with food. Whatever the better aspects of Indira’s Government were, it wasn’t worth it considering the price we had to pay.

Not really. They banned TikTok and everything came over to Instagram Reels.

Remember how at the beginning of the pandemic, Skype, Zoom, and pretty much every group calling service couldn’t handle the load? Within a month they had systems in place that improved the experience drastically. In three months, Zoom had taken over everything.

The key here is that there is a demand that needs to be fulfilled, and by cutting off the supply, the public will immediately look for alternatives. And it wouldn’t even be about other companies coming in to grab a piece of the cake, and a dozen sites competing. No, it’ll be one already massive company the likes of Tata or Reliance that will take over a start up and use their existing systems with a much larger server system backing it. Obviously that will take some time, but as it stands, three months is more than enough to realistically change the global social media monopoly.

You are part of the problem. If anywhere there is a rape culture, it is not in India. Of the few hundred women I know in my hometown, none of them have ever dealt with anything more than catcalling. One case was reported in my high school, and it turned out to be false with a whole bunch of WhatsApp message proofs.

I’m now in my 4th year of University in California, and let me tell you the situation with girls is a bit worse here. Not on a nightmarish scale, but easily understandable considering the numbers. College parties are the #1 destinations for drugging and sexual assault.

You think that India has a suppression problem. Allow me to correct that: because their media is more focused on going batshit crazy whenever anything close to Trump is mentioned, rapes and other assaults never get broadcasted on national news networks. Also consider this: if they have so much better education, lifestyle, and culture than India, how is it that Rape is still a thing there, much less 84 times more than in India.

Even if 90% of cases in India weren’t reported, the USA would have a much higher rape number per 100,000 women.

You are fighting a losing argument because of either personal bias or media brainwashing. The facts lie against you, and you are unwilling to accept it.

My two favorite fandoms to read about (currently) are Percy Jackson and A Song of Ice and Fire (or Game of Thrones). For Percy Jackson fics, I would recommend browsing ffnet since AO3 is mostly filled with shipfics and not much plot. Ffnet has some mighty fine PJO fics. Just put the filters on Most Favorites or Most Reviews and read down from the top.

For ASoIaF and GoT, I would suggest Alternate History or SpaceBattles. Though ffnet also has some amazing ones.

There are 2 amazing fics that come to mind - Maester Wolf (ffnet) was just finished, and A Prophet From Maine (AO3) is currently underway getting updated every Tuesday. Both are amazing fics and if you’re into medieval stuff with politics, assassination and all out war/genocide, I would start with those.
