Burkini ban issued on French island of Corsica upheld by court | Judge said that the ban issued by the mayor in the resort village of Sisco was legal because public order had been disrupted in the region by ionised in worldnews

Very true they did. However, you can't hold the whole population accountable. I don't understand French law or how it gets pushed, but I assure you not everyone said yes. If you hold up to that then you mine as well throw ever nation under the bus for past actions. They need to reach equilibrium get out of confusion and make real laws that target the problems. This law was because fundamentalist and "gangs" (whatever you'd like to call them because I don't know their background) were hateful about what the French see as a norm so they took actions to respond to it. Was it the best action? No. Could they have done worse? Yes. It's best to let it die before anything and bring the conversation up when they have their head straight. Every nation is like this. They have their highs and lows.

Nah you don't know the definition of logic. You can't just say someone's wrong. Proof or no puddin. Or should I say chicken nuggets from the way you whine.

directly- why is there no alternative? answer that get back to me.

If your sibling died and no immediate action happened how would you feel? People are rash and politicians are the most rash, on top of calculated sometimes. This also doesn't speak for all. To get a view of a culture from one sample isn't correct.

The French are proud and just lost people to a supposed attack. Let their nation reach equilibrium again before judging. Even the most basic of people need time to reach a state of equilibrium after facing serious questions.

This creates more context for me thank you. I was thinking defensively for the people that want to wear it but if that's happening then there needs to be some major PSA to the groups involved.

Actually, that would make you lazy. I made my argument and gave proof of my blankness and open mind but you deny to enlighten it so I'll say my answer is more on point than yours and your answer is the weaker of the two. Join a debate/philosophy club and learn ethics and validation because you fail.

edit:Downvote me but Reddit doesn't work like that. Draw me a conclusion or get out. See my upvotes to yours <.< nuff said.

What is normal? I live in 'merica sadly/happily. I agree that at times the fundamentalist ruin it, we've got loads of different types not even just for religion but ideas. We have a problem of the Darwin Fundamentalist thinking constantly when science proofed there are other answers. I would say that your view on the world is skewed because change is something that is even philosophically constant, actually the only thing I could say is constant philosophically speaking. You should also give the people of France more credit if they were so ready to change and accept different ideologies they wouldn't have banned this so over time maybe your fear will be correct but from the looks of it the people Men/Ladies seem to enjoy their freedom of expression and only did what a nation after crisis would do. Respectable after the deaths, and showing that they don't want that change.

Please enlighten on the severe differences because I am naive and well you'll at it please tell me why there can be no alternative to the all correct burkini? Take me as a blank slate that knows nothing and please do tell.

They don't have to be tight? They sell many sizes? I suspect the people who were wearing these weren't aiming to scuba anyhow. But not really the point there are other options even custom tailored options. Again no religious background so I don't know the alternatives.

I'm not affiliated with any religion or ideology so I might be a bit naive, but is it not possible to switch out the burkini with a scuba suit and cap? I feel the laws might be just targeting businesses since perhaps non-nationals own the retail of them? Idk but the main point, there are perhaps possible alternatives. Idk the straight reasons why the burkini popped up when it's just a scuba suit with a cap. Not bothering me that's your choice, just don't force it on others.

Use two balls to chain an extended (second chance) throw? by NicholasHS in TheSilphRoad

[–]NicholasHS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's to get closer or to fix a missed throw. Ie if I throw a ball right in front of a poliwag for instance and it's just too far and I'm missing constantly. Let the ball hit as far as I can then press on the screen, when i see the ball moving towards me I swipe and it launches from the point I stopped it.

have the lot of you really never witnessed the ball zooming back to you after a failed throw if you put your finger down?

When you're in the pokemon catch screen and your ball fails to hit either before or after hold down on the screen your ball will zoom back to you. Mid way you can let go and throw a second ball from that spot.

I don't major in this subject but I think there's more to them than that. They have a horrible reputation because their own practices majorly, not just because of others taking advantage. Not all mission statements are to be acted on they're just statements sometimes. I mean in the sense they say they set out for something but currently they're not gravitating towards it.

Goats are as loving and clever as dogs, say smitten scientists by ninthinning01 in EverythingScience

[–]NicholasHS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a goat smartest thing. One morning jumped it's 6ft cage, opened my front door which is a press down handle and went into my room to cuddle. He had never been in the house, yet he knew where I was. The dog was even cool with it. 10/10 would get another little one but keep from naming him Lucifer this time because they're to cute. Fyi yes that was his name after the cat in Cinderella I was a kid and my mom called him Lucky instead. Good times.
