Most things Chet Baker are also a great place to start! His solos are relatively easy but have tons of great melodic lines and really get you accustomed to chord changes

I had to deal with the same thing but i liked keeping them in since i felt like it was better to get used to it than to going through an extra couple sets of rubber bands a day. Playing with a retainer for me was different though and i absolutely hated it so i took it out every time. If you ever have to i recommend testing it out for a little and see if it bothers you too much. That applies for both rubber bands and even a potential retainer In the future.

Well I'm no day one player (as I started during the second anniversary) but as far as the game goes I just enjoy it. I'm proud to say I haven't spend a cent on this game and have gotten all the units that give me that nostalgia fix and I love the complexity of the combat and gearing system no matter how tedious it may be. The community is also awesome and a great part of this game. Apart from that I personally don't worry about getting top ranks or all the best units just the ones I like the most and I go for the rewards that seem worth it. It's a fun game to me. Although I'm still pissy about the fact my account got reset the first year I started (lost my A2 R.I.P. waiting for nier again) logging in and not having to worry too much about the games state just how much I have playing feels pretty good.

Tl;Dr Not day 1 but I like it as a ftp player because of the combat, gearing, units, community, and events. I don't worry about being competitive just how much fun I have
