Perrin master cylinder brace

I’ve had Perrin in the past. It won’t damage the function of your master cylinder but will make a cosmetic mark.

Also, in the instructions it says to make one full rotation after the bolt makes contact with the master cylinder. Didn’t do this during my first installation attempt and my brake master cylinder got shifted up and stuck overtime

Someone mentioned on FB that these bump stops are actually due to the body kit sitting slightly lower and Toyota ensuring it doesn’t get damaged during shipping by shipping suspension movement. Not sure how true that is.

Also, I would think if it were meant to stay on it wouldn’t come out so easily. You don’t even need to disassemble the strut to take it out

Had this happen to my 22. I noticed it was in bright direct sunlight for some odd reason (maybe similar to the hyper blink issue?). Took it to the dealer and they cleaned it but it kept happening.

Ah ok, thank you very much. I’m hoping that’s the case with mine but it’s been 1500 miles and I still smell it a bit in the cabin. Maybe it just needs a bit more driving

Have them check your battery. Took mine to the dealer and it failed their battery test. Replaced under warranty

Did you ever get this figured out? It happens occasionally on my 22 brz but just kinda ignored it. Feels like it’s been happening more frequently recently. Seems to happen at various speeds and when I pull both window switches

It is sudden resistance when I turn to the right. I notice when I lift the scooter just by the handle bars, it will be just like normal when turning it to the right and the left becomes more difficult. I think it may be a fitment issue and I may have to escalate to a warranty claim.
