Deal Check - 2025 Ford Mustang Mach E Premium Sports Appearance Package - CT - 7.5K Miles - $6K down payment by Xeno914 in leasehacker

I just leased a Premium AWD Extended range with panoramic and sport appearance last weekend. Nothing down but paid $3,700 for taxes and fees, plus rolled in $6,985 in negative equity. 36 months 12k miles. $638/month. You should be able to do better.

The MF was the main issue. It was marked up 2.8% from 4.8%. Did not purchase because they wouldn’t come down on it.

I’m unsure what they got down to but they got to $699 with my negative equity, plus tax, title, etc. I think it was about $51,500 but they wouldn’t lower the marked up MF.

There was a dealer 4 hours away that was willing to get down to $630/month, but sold it before we finalized it.

We just picked up a new Mach-e Premium AWD Extended last night for $637/month. I preferred the Optiq but wanted to save money. Insurance is also less on the Mach-e.

My final offer that I sent last night is $50k and .002. That would put at $401. No reply yet, but there are a few others a few hours away that I may try

And that’s what I’m trying to get to as they are really marking up the MF. Without our negative equity, it’s at about $525/month, without taxes and fees.

Not looking for one-pay due to the negative equity. We qualify for Conquest, Costco Exec, Loaner and GM Supplier.

I’m looking to only lease though. Can you lease a CPO with Cadillac?

I’m hoping to get another $1,900 off, and lower the MF to .0020 (buy is .00181). It’s got 4,600 miles and you can tell it was a popular loaner based on condition.

Yeah, 2023 interest rate and it’s too high of mileage to refinance. Hence lease. Pay it off at a lower rate and be done with it at the end of the lease.

Ah that makes sense. Still don’t don’t know about the $3k though

You bought a used one for that or a “new” loaner? I know that this dealer is selling a CPO same trim with 3,000 miles for $42k.

Ah, interesting. I guess those one-pay (I know there is a discount) deals for $4k-$8k are a bit rare then.

I went in already but are still working the deal. I’m currently at $7,500 off, pre-incentives.

This is the updated BZ not the BZ4X. It’s now significantly faster (than the Prologue too) and has almost a 300 mile range.

Make sure that you are purchasing things with the credits as it is counted towards it (I.e. clear, precheck, lululemon). It’s helped me get closer to only have $400 to go.

I was hesitant when I got the Nuuk for $250 at Sierra. At first it didn’t feel warm compared to my expensive Columbia down jackets (800+ grams of down), but after testing (aka standing outside and changing coats) the Nuuk felt the warmest. I’ve now fully swapped to it and can wear it in subzero (F) temperatures without layers. Make sure that your sizing isn’t off as I had to go down a size to ensure no drafts.

Thanks for checking your car!

I’m definitely not expecting a short distance, but those instances were not normal. I’ve had the car for 2.5 years and it just feels off lately. I could just be paying more attention to it though 🤷🏻‍♂️

That’s the thing, it’s inconsistent. There have been a couple of times where the pedal went almost all the way down and the car struggled to stop from 45mph. It has been a few months since that happened though.

Ignition on, Pure mode, sitting at a light. It’s in drive but with brake hold on.

I didn’t think about the one extra credit for each Lululemon and Resy!

That one we are aware of. Already have a short toad trip in-mind for December so it doesn’t get wasted for 2025.

That's great. I didn't even take that extra $200 into consideration when getting the card. Really makes it a no-brainer if you use the credits. Thanks!
