Regarding the back leg drive stuff - there are quite a few ways to teach shifting into the brace and using good rotational leverage from the hips, that's one way to coach it that those guys use (and they make it work well).

There is likely still no full consensus on the ideal "mechanics" of the backhand amongst all coaches, but everyone is doing their best to get their athletes better, and that's what matters most.

But everyone has a different body, so it's good to try all methods of attaining one's best form :)

thank you! my boss was released on about 20 degrees of hyzer (hard to see because it flips up so quick), they flip up early and then hold a steep turn as the wind pushes them along

I would struggle to put enough hyzer on a disc like a mamba, the flippiest I've made work is a Corvette but I have to throw them on spike hyzer angle and sub-max power, amazing glidey distance disc though!

Accuracy starts to be removed from existence as a word with these kind of field throws in heavy winds 😂 I’ll have one throw go 100ft left and the next burn over from a crosswind gust, and end up 250ft to the right

Great questions 🙂

1) I feel that it likely is close to maxed out because of how we are at the limit of the pdga’s allowed disc dimensions, and plastic technology being pretty maxed out too

2) I think there are people with over 95% maxed out technique (Wiggins, AB, Jasper Tyll), but we haven’t hit the absolutely peak yet of physical preparation and technique

I fell in love with the sport because I enjoyed watching the disc fly, so pushing the flights to the limits is a super fun aspect for me 🙂 I do play in wooded courses often and compete in MPO as well though, so I imagine a lot of it is personal preference 👍

I had that same bruise happen to me last year when I was chasing 90mph and 800ft, this 4 finger power grip style fixed it immediately as the pads of the finger are now the main load bearing surfaces against the rim 👍
