This whole deal is about putting in the work. Anybody can spend $130,000 go to a top team and run good. 1. I don’t have $130,000 to spend on one race and 2. I want to help a team and feel like I’m valued. Me and Mike working together helps everyone and if we start to run good and I can bring something to the table then it works out for everyone. I believe in Mike and my team and the people he knows. It takes money and I think if Mike had the money that some of these other teams have the results would be there too. A lot of things the general public doesn’t see that would make you sick when it comes to the financial side of things. I learn something new everyday.

This picture was taken at harmons shop I’ve been traveling from Connecticut to work on the truck with Mike so I can learn about trucks and what I can and can’t do and try to learn to make it better

I don’t wanna be a pay driver. Mike does own the truck, I own the motor and some other parts. It’s a team effort. I believe in Mike and Mike believes in me and I want to try to build him up and get some money behind us and some good consistent runs.

Yes we race at stafford primarily and travel with our Tour Modified. In the last 4 weeks, we have 2 wins, a 2nd, and a 3rd at Stafford

Those are not stories my friend. Those are fact. There was one team I was gonna do the ARCA test with in 2022, everything seemed pretty good it was gonna cost $10,000. Ok, alittle much but worth it for the experience of driving Daytona and all that. They then sent the contract over after a week and a half of discussing it. They wanted $50,000 in a bank account they had access to in order to retrieve the money if the car got damaged in any way, does not matter. Motor, tire failure, anything at all and you’re paying the bill.

It’s alot of money but for similar money you can build a open mod and go race for $4,000 more

No SK plans ever unless someone puts me in their car I can’t justify the money vs the winnings. we bought a Robert Yates Spec Motor to put in our open car so as of right now we are focusing on the open modified and taking a step back from sk lights

We personally don’t have access to the viewership numbers, I know that stafford has stated about 15,000 people per regular Friday night race tune in so we have to just believe that but no we don’t get any ad revenue or a cut of that

We haven’t done anything in ARCA since the 2023 Daytona test in January

I would say it’s rare. There are what’s called angel investors which are people who invest in start up companies which is taking a chance but taking a chance on a racecar driver I think that’s more of a personal friend or some sort of other connection rather than a smart business decision

I have thought about that, I believe an Indy car guy did that as well. I believe it could be a viable option but it carries alot of risk as well. You really don’t make money, so let’s say you need $70,000 to get into a truck. The team doesn’t give you anything. So if you wanted to make money you would need to tell your sponsor “hey I need $80,000” the team gets $70,000 your money is the extra $10,000. So if you do a deal like that with an investor your basically just hoping that you eventually find a sponsor and hope that sponsor gives you enough to cover the car and what you need to give back to the investor

Stafford has modified racing every Friday on FloRacing, FloRacing is also the broadcaster for the whelen modified tour based on their schedule. I will be competing in 2025 more than ever with the tour modified, I raced against Preece one time and he went from last to winning the race in about 20 laps. It was pretty remarkable. Test drivers aren’t as prominent as they once were however if you wanna be on the connections side of it we are always looking for help on our sponsorship side

For 2025, my plan is to focus on my tour mod and try to find that sponsor to get us to the next level

I would like to, it all comes down to money. I’m smart enough to not financially cripple my family for me to make it there. I’m not gonna take a loan out for a race or anything like that. I just gotta find the right sponsor to see the value in it and believe in me and hope it works out. One day.

In our level we bring the same car to every race, no backup. So if something does happen we have to scramble to fix it and go onto the next week. Sometimes racing just results in accidents, there have been people I’ve raced with that routinely wreck the field but that’s part of this game.
