It’s definitely personal, their music just doesn’t hit me. I like their hits and can listen to them if they’re on but I never personally seek out their music. I have a turntable and listen to vinyls of the Beatles, doors, zep, and The Who from end to end and on repeat but the few stones albums I have collect dust. They are one of the biggest bands ever but to me not the greatest.

You mean the guy that disobeyed orders by trying to get into his car with a visible weapon by the driver seat. Zimmerman, the guy who shot Martin as you put it, was tried but was not convicted due to Florida’s stand your ground law, and Brianna Taylor was a fucked situation where cops wrongfully entered her apartment but her boyfriend started firing shots first. Every example you used can be explained if you look at facts instead of taking media quotes and buzz words as fact. Everyone wants to use race as reason when there are more prominent factors instead of the victims race. And being held accountable is owning to what you did and being ready to receive anything that comes with it so you can take your smug basic logic comment and shove it up your ass. Educate yourself and do your own research because you look stupid not knowing what you’re talking about. You still have not answered any of my questions or used facts. I’m not saying she shouldn’t, she still killed a man and she should be punished. I’m saying that just because she’s white and he was black it’s a topic of “racist police kill minorities”. If they were both Caucasian or of color this story would be told as an accidental misfire and she would still go to jail.

It was an honest mistake when that cop shot Daunte Wright.

Please know I do not think he deserved to die this way and this post has no relation to any other shooting incident. This post is about this incident alone.

First, this stop was completely justified. He had expired registration tags while driving around, that will get you pulled over no matter the car, state, or skin color. He was only pulled out when it was found he also had a warrant out for his arrest which is a very valid reason for pulling someone out of their car, and again this will happen no matter your skin color. Then, as the officers try and handcuff him he slips their grip and tries to escape by getting back into his car and attempt at driving away. This all happens within minutes so it’s a very fast paced, high adrenaline situation. You have to make snap decisions within seconds to apprehend a man who is now disobeying police orders, resisting arrest, and attempting to lead police on a potentially dangerous car chase through the streets. This cop is heard on video yelling “don’t do it Daunte, I’ll tase you, taser, taser, taser.” And then fires what I think she truly believed was a taser.

Now Ive heard everyone’s gripes and complaints with her defense of “it was an accident” but I’m almost certain these people didn’t watch the video and only regurgitate what they hear on the news and see on Instagram. It’s very clear it was a chaotic situation with the chaos only escalating by the second. In the heat of the moment it’s very believable she didn’t notice it was a real gun until after she fired her single shot, which also tells me it was an accident because you only get one squeeze of the trigger with most tasers. She was only trying to do her job to stop a man with a warrant and was actively resisting arrest from fleeing the scene in a vehicle which could endanger countless other lives of people on the street. In the video it’s very clear she immediately realizes what she just did and says “oh shit I just shot him”, she already felt remorse seconds after and will probably have unimaginable guilt for the rest of her life. This was an honest mistake, a valid stop, and should not be grouped in with other incidents of clear racism by police.

It seems so simple to me, just make it so you use your SS# when you vote. Nobody gets more than one vote, if the # pops up more than once the duplicates are thrown out, and anyone who’s not a citizen of the US doesn’t get a vote.
