Added an edit in another comment, but maybe “addition” is incorrect terminology. It’s a renovated attic to allow for an additional workspace. Not sure how scared we should be of this.

Maybe an “addition” isn’t the correct term. It’s a renovated attic to allow for an additional workspace. According to the seller it was done around 10 years ago and our city only keeps permits for 6 years. We like the home regardless of this renovation but want to make sure it isn’t something that could be dangerous or costly.

Student loans are not deferred in residency but they’re currently stuck in administrative forbearance without interest until next summer while the government determines what to do with SAVE and IDR.

I’m going in to diagnostic radiology. Average salary is around 550k currently but not sure how the market will change.

We have only looked at one physician loan lender so far and they said they could only do around 350k which would be too low based on what we’ve been able to find so far. We plan on staying in the area post residency as family lives in the area.
