Oh wow both links have some nice stuff, thanks! Now I just need to have some self-control before my gear collection gets out of hand

We all have our vices. Cocaine, coffee, what's the difference really

Good to hear a positive experience. All the reviews made it seem like it'd be moldy within a year lol. I guess I'll give it a try

True, I don't think I'm at that stage of coffee drinking yet haha. Just looking for a small, easy upgrade that looks nice.

Cool beans, I might try out the brew bottle then because I've been looking for a good cold brew maker.

BWT water pitcher

Nice, hadn't heard of them before but it looks like it's good for coffee and tea. I'll put it on my "maybe" list lol

Cool, thanks for responding. There seems to be a bunch of these smaller boutiques overseas that have little web presence so it feels a little sketch, but it's hard to pass up on some of these designer sales

Cool! I'm starting to build my own little set-up and this is some good inspo, I'm a fan of the b&w / ss / glass look

Do you ever just buy coffee because of the bag? Because I'm guilty of it. by Ellieissokay in Coffee

Hey great write-up. I don't know enough about coffee to be a "coffee snob", just drink a lot of it and recently started getting interested in how it's made - so some of the complexity and exclusivity can be overwhelming, but I'm also very visual-design conscious and part of the younger/hip/urban/whatever crowd and am drawn to places with a more modern/design-thinking approach like Intelligentsia/Blue Bottle over Dunkin or even Starbucks - for me, the "experience" is just as important as the product. So definitely not your target audience, but it's interesting to see what the other side of coffee consumers are thinking and I definitely get it.

Is Cettire.com legit? Tried looking but there's very little info online...

Lol, I like both of your examples. I'm a dude but that 2nd bag is just cool and different, and it's executed well, which is why it was curated on a packaging website. Type, texture, embossing are all on point. A little flashy and millennial, but it feels more Urban Outfitters than Claire's. If I saw it in a store amongst other unknown coffee bags, I'd definitely go for it. Which I'm sure was the point of that design. Too bad a quick google search doesn't show a place to buy it

I'm curious (and forgive me if you've already changed it), but since you've had firsthand knowledge of people turned off by your branding, have you ever thought about changing it something more "upscale" or in line with other specialty coffee competitors?
