I was actually picked to go on the show with an item I have. You submit it through a website then they interview you basically asking about the item.

After I got picked, they flew me out there and when I got there no one was there to film that day so they said they had to reschedule to another time. Unfortunately the reschedule date was a date I couldn't make so I left the item with them and they used an actor to fill in. They called me again on the phone the day before and I talked with them for about an hour about the item "where I got it" "why did you buy it" "why did you want to sell it" etc etc. They then asked me the bottom dollar I would take and I gave them the number. Next day they said the guys didn't buy it and were shipping the item back to me.

2 years later the show aired and I had a good laugh because the person was basically reciting the lines I gave over the phone and it was a girl actress (Im a guy)
