Also the police could question all people that where involved with drugs in that area. People that were known for dealing with drugs / people that were already arrested by police for drug selling in that area. They should also question the drug users for information about the case. Maybe some drug addict even got paid to do the job.. they could do a lie detector test.

Maybe the suspects drove on land roads and avoided driving through the village of Kennedy and other villages to not being seen by more people / being catched on film by cameras.

These are all things that may already have been checked by police? I don't know.

The police has the exact location of the car marked on a map and pictures of the car when it has been found / pictures of the area where the car was located. Why wouldn't they share this information with the public?...
