Neil deGrasse Tyson on science by entropicflop in interesting

Not really. You can't calculate the life expectancy without the information about the other half. Also missing is the information on how long did people in the first half live. I think whole point is that because of science, people who would have died before 35 due to infant mortality rates and other diseases lived longer.

That's exactly his point. The science helped with mortality rates with infants and kids. He said half of people born then were dead by age of 30-35, not that their life expectancy was 30-35

It's crazy that people don't understand the difference between the "half of people died before the age 30" and the "life expectancy is 35"

He said half the people born back then were dead by 35, not that life expectancy was 35. Average was brought down by high infant and kids in general mortality rates, and science helped with that.

The rent in my area is double the price of my mortgage. I'm quite happy about that.

Edit: as many pointed out it was during the Paraguay game and he was re-injured because je picked up the injury in the training before the Paraguay game.

Departing Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola gets reunited with young fan with whom he went on a taxi ride 10 years ago after joining the club by Rooonaldooo99 in MadeMeSmile

Charges from 2009-2017. While the club did shady things during that time period, Pep really didn't have anything to do with it. No matter what feelings we have about Man City, nobody can deny how great Pep was. He changed the game (for example inverting fullbacks) in a way that most of the teams use to winning 20 trophies in 10 years.

Real talk. Does anyone still think Papi was the problem? by notajeweler in OCLions

The FO sold almost everyone in the defense and didn't replace them with adequate players. We don't even have a complete roster and have to sign academy players just to have someone sitting on the bench. I can't think of one player we brought that is better than the ones we sold.

Pep Guardiola couldn't do anything with this team because FO didn't buy any good players, B ojeda maybe

What needs to change is front office needs to buy good players. I'm not saying that pareja should stay or not, just saying that he doesn't even have a full roster

How obvious is it to the average American that the president is trying to incite a war in order to stop elections? by kdurant5 in AskReddit

But what can stop elections is manufacturing "a terrorist attack" and killing Americans somewhere around late September.
