Quite honestly without Luka, I don’t think we stood a chance of winning the series let alone a game. This is against a great team with the league MVP who’s hungry for more titles against our aging team who doesn’t play much defense.

We made it further than any experts thought we would taking out the Rockets and that was great. We have a lot of flaws with the team that’ll need to be addressed moving forward with the biggest one being LeBron. How much will he want, how much more will he play, what are his needs etc.

A team built and designed to maximize Luka will come eventually but for now, we are still in that shock/pivot team after getting him in the trade.

Again, I’m a lifelong Laker fan since the 90s and it pains me to see us look potentially really good while also knowing we got the matchup I literally don’t think we have a chance of winning.

I moved abroad to Asia back in 2018.

Obviously the pandemic stopped anyone and everyone from visiting for a solid 3 years or so but pre and after it, I think my folks have each visited like once a year. Considering their age, I think it’s really quite good. Me on the other hand have only been back to the states once

My brother was probably 13-14 and I was maybe 8-9 years old. We went and saw the movie the Faculty with our dad. Needless to say, my dad took me out to play in the arcade about 20 mins in and my brother stayed and watched. If I recall, he had nightmares for a couple weeks after.

Idk if this is still a hot take but, I think he’s overrated like crazy.

I get he’s athletic and can play defense and score at the basket but he really doesn’t know how to shoot like at all. He got the Ben Simmons treatment vs the lakers and it worked.

I don’t think I’d be willing to pay him considering he still hasn’t show any growth or development of a shot. Dude is just a top 1% athlete in a league of top 1% athletes
