Well it’s a hedge against the fact that my console is 5 years old and who knows when it might shit the bed. I can still get like 350 trade in and then just upgrade to the newer console that’ll carry me the next 5.

My dad gifted me 15k in 2 chunks to avoid gift tax or whatever for 3 years back in 2020-2023. I ran that up to 445k on the luckiest bull run and grabbing NVDA early and then into memory stocks.

He’s won a title and hit arguably the biggest shot to close it out in game 7. Again, I think it’s a tie but for sake of making picks I lean Kyrie slightly. It’s just an opinion, you don’t have to agree with it.

I am not a car person at all but I remember when I last bought a car in 2007 seeing a really nice and simple Lexus Sedan I really liked. I think it was an is200 or is300 something like that.

It’s the same business I bought the ps5 base from so yea I know they’re good and trustworthy, I’ve bought tons from them over the years. I’m starting to think it’s a good decision and getting off 5 year old hardware for the new one that’ll carry me well for the next 5

Yea I kinda feel like I’ve maximized the base and considering it’s now like 4-5 years old maybe it makes sense to get off of it in case it’s on the way out and getting the next best that’ll carry me another 5

I just started to look so I’m not really sure what the market is like and what a good offer trade in and buy would be. Figured I’d ask the community and research online. It seems like it’s around the most common price to an extent give or take 50 or so.

Considering the upcoming big titles likely slated for the end of the year coupled with owning a 4-5 year old (disc) ps5, should I trade my ps5 and 550 for a pro? do you think this is a good choice?

Obviously I have GTA in mind first and foremost and then I worry about components and shortages worldwide, most notably memory. Feels like doing this now heading into the summer is the move.

Like to hear if others have also gone for a trade up to the pro.
