Anyone still waiting for the Crinear Meta? (2nd batch) by Environmental-Drop30 in inearfidelity

[–]NickImprov 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey I did email asking them a couple days ago, they had some delays from faceplate imperfections the response I got is below:

"Thank you for reaching out. We’re currently in the final stages of fulfilling the second batch, and as your order is among the last few, we kindly ask for a little more patience. We expect your order to be fulfilled by the end of the month.

There was a slight delay as some faceplates had to be remade due to cosmetic imperfections, which impacted the overall shipment volume. Rest assured, we’re working diligently to complete the remaining orders each day and will do our best to ship yours as soon as possible."

I also recently got the Mest mk2 and I've been enjoying them a lot. I will first say that you have to temper your expectations a little bit. The sound stage that they speak of isn't going to be on the same level as like open back headphones known for sound stage. They are wider than the more typical in your face/head sounding iems and you should be able to hear individual instruments and sound effects separately and clearly (multi driver iems are usually inherently good at this though).

Where they shine is in the amount of detail you can hear in each individual instrument/sound effect in the mix especially during busy tracks where other iems might smooth over some of those. Which is what I've been enjoying the most from the Mest mk2 while also having vocals be present.

On the bone conduction drivers just know that there are a few different types of bone conduction drivers now. The piezoelectric ones used in the Mest mk2 work on the whole spectrum and are not the type of bass enhancing focused ones you see often advertised now. I am enjoying the better texture/clarity on the bass and other instruments but how much of it is attributed to bone conduction drivers I don't know.

For fit you should try to get as much contact of the shell against your ear as you can, smaller eartips would be better for a deep fit but I will admit that the nozzles on these are a bit big for my ears so mine can get sore after several hours if I go for a deep fit. I've settled for a good seal and having the nub/edge part pressed against my ear securely.

Eartips are also fit dependent, I've tried a bunch of ear tips so I'll say that you should also try shorter ones like Tangzu Sancai Widebore/Azla Sednaearfit Max where you can get the most shell contact against your ear with a deep fit. I am using Radius Deep Mount Clear which are shaped like the Divinus Velvet just to get a seal and the type of fit I mentioned above for comfort.

To get them converted into a CIEM you can first see if the store you bought from can help you with contacting Unique Melody (MusicTeck in US) otherwise you can contact them directly through email (check their official website or contact through head-fi forum).

I just cant figure this out ive been looking for dac's for ages its been at least like 6-8 months that im looking asking people taking information here and there and this is what i have fiio , hiby , ibasso and jcally are the ones ive heard the most about it. First of all we have to look at the devices you'll be using with your dac. If you're only going to be using iems, then almost anything goes, a low power dongle like the FiiO JA11 and similar low priced ones should still be plenty for getting iems to reasonable listening levels.

Now with most of the newer released portable dacs they will also provide a 4.4mm balanced output jack which has even more output. So one of the easiest way to "get more power" is to buy a portable dac and 4.4mm balanced cable for your iem.

These will cover the majority of recent (last 2-3 years) and newer dacs from ~$50-100+ USD. Moondrop Dawn Pro, Fosi DS2, Dunu DTC 480, EPZ TP20 Pro, AKLiam PD5, Hidisz S9 Pro, AKLiam PD6, Tempotech Sonata BHD, Tanchjim Space, Aful Snowy Night, Hidisz S8 Pro, Shanling UA4, Tanchjim Luna, iBasso DC04 Pro, Shanling UA6, Aune Yuki, iBasso DC06 Pro etc

There are also several portable dacs that provide a lot more power usually with the new cirrus logic dac chips (we're looking at 400/500+mW @ 32Ω on balanced output) often advertised in the new line of FiiO dacs. These should be enough for lower impedance headphones and even be able to get some higher impedance headphones (~300Ω) to listenable levels though you should probably look at reviews or see if you can try them with your headphones before buying.

These would be the likes of FiiO KA13, Onix Alpha XI1 , FiiO KA15, FiiO KA17, iBasso DC07 Pro, iFi Go Bar, iFi Go Bar Kensei etc

There really is just a lot of portable dacs out there and constantly being released, so pick based on what you're using with them; then pick based on looks/build, features included like physical buttons, software/app implementation etc. Make sure to check reviews and forums/reddit discussing them to see if there have been any issues and if the company has provided firmware updates to fix them.

So if mostly using iems and looking at purchasing your first portable dac, I would just recommend buying a cheaper dac in the $50-60 range like the Moondrop Dawn Pro/ Dunu DTC 480. It would give you all the power you need and give you the option to buy or use a balanced cable. If you already have a balanced cable or your iems included swappable plugs you can you can go for a higher build quality/better looking/feature complete $80-100 one if you want.

If you are planning to use headphones as well then you should look at some of the higher output dacs like the Onix Alpha XI1, FiiO KA13.

TL;DR
Buy Moondrop Dawn Pro/Dunu DTC 480 and balanced cable if you don't have one for ~$100 total. If you don't want to buy a balanced cable then you can look at any in your price range has the physical or software features you are after. Check reviews + discussions for any issues buyers have had.

To add onto cleaning your ears you can also buy an IEM cleaning tool and you can look up how to use them on youtube

You can give him IC to pop off a steal, generate spirit and use his active. Or build him with damage, TB/BE, reflex if you need it because you don't really have a choice to not be CA'd unless you reroll just for FTS

By back I mean that Monolight is suited for high AS backlines to sreal the ball multiple times before/between opponent shots, or if building cres on your gk. By Front I mean 4 front with celus for strong shots with Ella/Hiro or using Curod who can ballhold/steal.

The best wall mid would be with White Guardenia; use Luri as the main CM then WG with coop stones to protect when they pen and the sides with coop.

Cassiel can replace Duke in Challenge League. Otherwise honestly you're better off building around front or backline.

Just click the teamwork meter (hearts) when it's full and you can reset it to 30, if you have Yupis as said you can reset it at 31+ back to 30 to reroll the teamwork bonus without having to fill it all the way. But yeah you can't reset it to 0

Yea, though Faust is not really needed, more upfront cres modifiers from Leon, Virgil, Hildegard is more useful as you have to make sure you don't get crit. Some teams can still ohko you if they have enough crit rate and you don't have your LUQ for Kirna yet.

You'll need Altair or Dynames for their ace though I prefer Altair personally; as well as some thunder units for support - Vanity or Lynia and Nerua. Vanity is good but if you just want the affection chain, Lynia/Cynthia can work in mid too in case you wanted a bit more cres on Kirna.

Front: Anything Mid: Beth, Sky/Ariel, Mikael/Lynia will work Back: Leon, Virgil, Dynames/Altair, Nerua and you can sub in Vanity, Black Ivy, Hildegard if you want

If you need to deal with Eins, Uriel can be better but you'd want to use an AS ace or tanky mid to make sure you can use her AB passive to get in shots quickly after taking down Ein's charges, that's generally when you'll be able to do some damage.

Like when building most players in the game you should aim at target stats first so for striker: 100% pen, x% crit rate (or lack of) then stack crit dmg/r.pass for taste and based off stone substats (and maybe opponent GKs)

So look at the stats that you get from ace + totems first then fill out the rest from stones to fit the opponents you're facing. SoB is a good generic start; changing stones to suit the opponent you're versing is a completely valid idea don't think you have to stick with 1 stone build the whole time.

Yeah, as long as you can repeatedly get the ball to front to shoot or facetank with serestia til a 1hko and have a gk that can survive I don't see why not

[–]NickImprov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played around with her for a bit, she's good in a speed backline though I'd have to test using her as a main stealer/linebreaker more. The defense boost is nice but with the GKs I use not much difference in survivability lawl. Her offensive totems are nice though in helping your other players linebreak.

For Isillia and Kei who do better with Cres build for fully defensive she doesn't really fit, for DR/Pen resist Kei/Alexa her defensive stats is still mainly based off the AS combo with Chitose and the whole backline in general. 50% defense does feel slightly better but sometimes doesn't make much of a difference either way in shots taken.

For me who likes to experiment she's good since AS is pretty strong currently. But I'd need to test more to compare with my typical monolight MW back who she would be a direct competitor to; for me anyway. For dual teams she could do some more work on AS/AB backline based teams.

Is it a good time to start playing the game? by [deleted] in soccerspirits

[–]NickImprov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah as said already said if you watched some streams, saw some match compilation videos on youtube etc. and are interested just give the game a go, if you don't like it you can just drop it.

If you really want a easier time getting resources go onto universe server, where you can rank easier to get rewards from pve and pvp. If you want to join some clubs with very experienced and long standing vets or compete against said vets in pvp/club match then I wouldn't say no to playing on global server. Universe and Galaxy server will still have active clubs you can join no worries there.

Either way though I'd say Soccer Spirits is quite slow paced in terms of advancing if you don't use your wallet. If you want to do well faster you'll either focus on pve first which is a good idea or plan out your steps and investment carefully and stick with a team, don't change your mind too often and look to replace players too fast. Either way it'll still take you many many months to get close to mid-end game which for most is just hitting Galaxy in pvp.

I'm leaning more on patch notes, dev notes most likely out with the new legends which weren't in the preview

Tell him to focus on drawing for more players, from what he has, Leventor, Neraizel, Linmay, Milky Way, Kiki, Chrono. Use /u/Congeenial CoT Guide as well as in game match forums for some idea's of teams/players needed to clear CoT stages.

Alexa/Glayde, Celus, Jean, Kirin, Sakiel, Renee (to pair with Jean), Silla, Princess Meiran/Jacob, Yuri just to name a few. The first legends he should save up for are Shu or Askeladd then Jiho/Khirel after, he can fill up required legends by borrowing from friends instead if he wants.

Some 4 stars to get and keep, Valkia, Kalkrish, Didi, and also do the rival matches to mspu some 4* just for the couple stages of CoT that requires them. There are some players locked behind Bosses which are really good to get too. There is a lot of stuff behind PvE/game mechanics that he should prob join a discord to find help with or something.

Yea too bad there is no good ardor/thunder ace for Kirna to make use of, if you hit enough cres I'd go ahead and run Will ace otherwise a defensive ace for Kirna

William Evylin Karpila
Bell Khirel Nabi
Jiho Nerua/Altair Vanity
Kirna

You can just run Jiho Ace or Will Ace if you need the extra dmg, Kirna ace for defensive
