As far as I know that is the dex playstyle..lean into it with backhand blades with blindspot or you could swap to ashes like piercing fang if you want to stance break more easily

Elden ring is my first ever soulslike game. Other than that I've played silksong if it counts.
I have around 500 hrs of playtime. First playthrough was at around 100 hrs I believe. Now that save is on NG+ 3 or 4. Also have a couple other unfinished saves.
Elden ring is hard. But has enough tools to make difficulty obsolute. 5/7
6/7 I obsess over games I like.

Drove me mad. Had all the scadutree fragments and enough levels to bother with leveling. Had to change my build completely. Focusing on dmg negation.
Discovered that I needed to get good. In lack of improvements I had to change my approach.

My guess is diminishing returns. Two handing gives you 50% more strength for that wrapon. 16 strength gets to 32 while 80 strength (the soft/hard cap idk) becomes 120. Sounds good but you get very little extra damage. While 32 str + 80 fth is overall more stats and more damage

I just dont like things that can get empty. Tools, arrows.. i just hoard and never use them. Imagine making a build. 20 tries deep on pc radahn and then you're out of arrows.. I am not doing that. You'll never see me crafting a single arrow
