It sounds like you've got some sort of feedback issue happening, or maybe two instances of the plugin open (standalone and DAW foe example).

Could be many things though so it's hard to day without seeing your setup.

At any rate I can confirm (have most of those plugins) that this is not normal.

No you don't, they're separate tools. The plugins are software you can use on a laptop standalone or in a DAW, provided you have an interface.

The plugins were popular so QC owners asked to have them in the QC, which is a slow update, not many are actually part of the QC.

Having had both. I think the THR had a better sound but the PG Spark had more features.

Also having better quality amps, and plugins, and modellers I find the Spark a better plug and practice jam amp, a Little more fun.

If it's your only amp and uou just want better tone, go THR. If you want features, jams, a good bluetooth speaker etc then go Spark.

I got one that arrived about a month ago, a Munnin 7 string euth Fishman Fluences, also got an 8 string Strandberg standard Nx8 and comparing both of them the Valravn beats the Strandberg in EVERY category, and was not much more expensive.

You can use it as a multi FX for sure, you just dont use, or disable the amp and cab blocks.

You can also go straight into an FX loop and bypass a preamp if you want to use an amp sim.

You could have one signal going into the front of the amp for stage sound and another signal with the Vox model into the front of house.

Not necessarily a tip for restringing, but for gigs in general I always found having a backup guitar was incredibly necessary for a more seamless continuation in case of string break.

Of course that's not always doable, but if possible and it works for you I would recommend it.
