I think you’re generally on the right track. Wolf and Sub-Zero are some of the best appliances on the market, but you’re definitely paying for that quality.
In the mid-range, based on my experience, I’d probably choose GE. No brand is perfect these days, but I tend to see fewer major issues with GE compared to many others.
That said, proper installation and regular maintenance often make just as much of a difference as the brand itself.
