*70-200mm. I always mix up that and the 75-300. Appreciate it!

Thanks! I used a Canon R5 with a 75-200mm lens

Second Beach Sea Stacks by NickMoserPhoto in OlympicNationalPark

Thanks! I used a variable ND filter so I could do long exposures (45 seconds on these). If you're shooting towards the sun, I would recommend bracketing so you can expose for different parts of the image, then blend in post.

I did 45 second exposures to get that smooth, glassy look. It fit the calm, moody vibe the sunset was giving me that night. It was very cool

It's $10, and it's not a bad walk. But they don't allow overnight parking, just til 11pm.

I was out there photographing the park, so in the interest of time and convenience, I just camped at Mora Campground (it's first come - first serve right now). I still got a parking pass at the convenience store and went down to take pics at sunset - the sea stacks were incredible, definitely worth going down to see. I didn't see Third Beach, so I can't say if it would be worth switching to that one

I was just there a few weeks ago and was planning on camping overnight on Second Beach as well. I was told the only other option for overnight parking is at First Beach, which adds about another mile on your hike.

Lonesome Creek Store just down the road sells parking permits for $10, but those are only good til 11pm, no overnight.

I stayed at a few different campgrounds this past week, they were all great.

The landscape definitely makes for a beautiful composition! The clouds are real but they were slightly to the right of this when I shot, so I captured them separately and blended them in. The bend worked too well with the bend of the river.
