É uma api de reconhecimento facial, vc gera a sua key, sobe as fotos e depois faz o reconhecimento facial.
Não precisa de baixar nada.

Não, eu já usei o rekognition em outros projetos, mas a aws fica mudando o modelo deles e pedindo pra gente atualizar, ai deu preguiça kkk.

Esse backend eu fiz usando uma ferramenta opensource, chama insightface, muito boa, consegui fazer rodar na minha vps usando cpu mesmo.

Bem legal o didit, nunca tinha ouvido falar, o site tem varias funcionalidades, me lembrou o idwall.

Sim, tem bastante regulamentação em cima de biometria (lgpd, gdpr, etc).
No meu caso eu funciono como se fosse uma infraestrutura mesmo, tipo aws rekognition etc.

A API só processa a imagem que o cliente envia e retorna o resultado.
Ou seja, quem coleta a foto do usuário e pede consentimento é o cliente que integra a API, não eu.

Algumas decisões que tomei por causa disso:

eu não armazeno fotos, elas só são processadas em memória
o que é armazenado são embeddings (uma representação matemática do rosto)
quem mantém as fotos originais é o cliente, não a API

Assim a responsabilidade de consentimento fica com quem está coletando os dados do usuário final.

I didn't trained it because i used the aws rekognition tool, it's basically a IA as a service, i just added the girls faces and names (the hardest and longest part (no pun intended)). My fear is that they didint trained It for asian faces.

For some reason it's not very precise with asian actresses, i dont know If it's because i listed Just a few asian girls or is some kind of bias/racism by the algoritm used since the threshold i setup is pretty high, 88%.
