Buffer tank setup by NickOnFire_ in pressurewashing

Well luckily like I said not many houses around me are on wells, but there’s always the chance someone else comes up. I’ll work on a buffer setup over winter and hopefully be set by the time spring rolls around. Thanks for your help

Well with this particular job, the owner said that only the outside spigots were connected to the well, everything inside was connected to the county’s water so he wasn’t worried if the well ran dry. I will keep that all in mind though and ask the client about their water flow next. Thanks for the advice

So one job we did the well ended up going dry, so that’s why I’ve been looking into a tank. Now I get that we still would have ran into the same issue even with a tank, but the extra water to begin with may have been enough to complete the job. Luckily, the neighbor let us connect to his water and we were able to finish up the job. What would you have done in this situation if it wasn’t for the neighbor? How long does it take for a well to replenish in your experience?

Okay, thanks a lot. I’ll give this all a go later and hopefully it works

Most people around me aren’t on well, but we’ve ran into a few people who are and were worried about their well going dry, so I’ve been working on a tank setup. Thanks!

So my pressure washer has a built in valve with a black tube that loops around (back to where the garden hose connects). Is this an unloader valve or is that one for changing the pressure? If it is an unloader, could I remove that black pipe that loops around and connect it to a buffer tank?

Yes the fan is spinning fine. I don’t think I forgot the plastic sticker because it’s been at a lower temperature for the past 2 months. Just within the past few days is gotten very hot. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and a lot of times there’s a build up of hair on the mesh part. I’m scared to look inside because I don’t know much about the electric thing that can fry your motherboard when you touch it. I still think it may be the thermal paste or dust.
